That sounds nice, jj. Time for some spoiling!

So far today I have brought in all the pots I cleaned yesterday to the basement, moved all the books back onto shelves that were boxed due to stuff going on with the house, and am on my second load of laundry. Debating on raking leaves since pickup can come as early as tomorrow. Keep hoping for rain as an excuse!

Gez, I just got up and am drinking coffee and eating coffee cake. <big yawn>

Nah, I have a folder on my PC full of Hunks. I don't need to pay for them. Although all my hunks are PG rated.

I just got done feeding The Nameless One - he eats like a charm, does everything a normal baby does, so I think he is probably good to go.

Astrid is the same, but bigger finally. I am making an appt to take her in this Friday for another evaluation. I can barely keep up with her needs as she requires constant cleaning/bathing, cleaning of cage and fresh bedding.

I once said I would let you know if I'm closing the thread. Well...I am closing the thread later today. I've always said, this is but one thread on one forum in the digital world. I am the same person with and without it.

Thank you all for making this thread such a fun place for nearly two years. You are the reason this thread has lasted this long. You have enriched my life and I remain your friend.

If you would still like to gather as a group, one of you can open another thread and play host. I wish you happiness and success. You know where to find me and I will see you in another place, another time.

I can't tell you how sad this makes me feel. I finally find a thread where I feel like I kind of fit in and now it's gone. You made this thread great and I don't think anybody can follow in your foot steps. I probably won't be a part of any new thread because it just won't be the same. You've been a great host but there probably isn't anything I can say to change your mind. Damn it! All because people can't leave religion out of here. It will happen in the new thread also and I don't want to be a part of it so all I can say is it's been really nice knowing and laughing all of you.

This is a very sad day.
