I have been cleaning "their" room. I set out some mouse traps under pee pads in 3 places they 'urinate inappropriately'. I don't want them to get hurt but I do want whichever one of them is misbehaving to learn to avoid those areas.

Have you thought about getting shock mats? You can set the shock level on the better ones. The downside is, they may learn to avoid the shock mats, and go back if the mats aren't there.

I'd hate to be the one to have to remove that mouse trap. I hope it's a docile cat.

No, No! It won't snap on the cat!! It will snap UNDER the pad and make a loud noise. Just trying some avoidance therapy.

Yeah, my Oliver is only 7 lbs. He has lost 2 lbs in the last 6 yrs. And he eats a lot. But is very active and drinks a ton of water.

Yeah, my Oliver is only 7 lbs. He has lost 2 lbs in the last 6 yrs. And he eats a lot. But is very active and drinks a ton of water.

Mine's about 8 lbs......same on the activity and drinking. How old is Oliver?

Cadeau is up to 11 pounds now. I knew by her big paws that she'd get bigger. She may be about full grown now. She eats well and drinks a lot of water.

The most I've had at one time for any length of time was two. I found 4 kittens on my door stoop once, just sitting there, getting out of the rain. I kept one and found homes for the other three. She was solid black, and I named her Cleo.

Mine is around 15. that makes him 76 in human years. Oliver would be about 68. So, they are senior citizens, for sure!
