I can't remember the amount VG. You might want to call the vet and ask them to make sure. If you have an electric shaver you can use that to remove the knots. I used a horse trimmer on Fancy....

I have an electric beard shaver, but I think the noise would scare her. I'll cut it with scissors again and see if she'll let me use the trimmer.

I have regular full size barber clippers and a small Wahl beard trimmer. I'll see which one makes less noise. But I think either one will freak her out.
