Good afternoon VG
Did you find something good?? I searched for the Kamry and didn't come up with much.
Hello, Stone.
There are two that are 14500 Mods, but different than the Squall - Kamry eCab V2. One got a pretty bad review by Phil Bursardo . . .
1. Super eGo VV = Ego 14500 VV Revolution II (Trueman) {same things}
2. L-Rider Robust = L-Rider Lavatube Robust-A = Round Rider Robust (there is also a Squared one)
#2 has very Poor Regulation, and does not work well after about 2 hours of use with Li-Ion, but a little longer with IMR, per PBusardo. Hey, it's a Lavatube. The performance dropped off at 5V badly with Li-Ion (it actually shut down), but did much better with IMR, and Glam uses IMR anyway.
#1 got a much better review from Phil, with its major downfalls being to its 2.5 Amp design, like any 2.5A Mod. However, Glam doesn't use 3.0Ω Cartos, or run a
device much above 4.2V, so this one should be fine.
Neither one has any Venting, but neither does the Squall, and Glam's DH could drill a hole in the center of the end cap on any of them. But these devices are a lot longer than the Squall (at about the same diameter), so even though they have more features, she'll have to consider if she thinks she'd like them. And they cost more, too, but this is pretty much to be expected from a fairly full-feature
device. They are both VV with 0.1V Increments in a 3-button design. The V+ and V- buttons can be locked to prevent accidental changes. They have Battery Voltage Check and Ohms Check on a decent display, and can be turned Off.
