Happy Saturday, Beachers.

Hope you are having....or have when you get up....a good day. We woke up to snow....imagine that! But 50 on Monday, so there is a light at the end of this dark, snowy, tunnel.

Love Bono and the song, Pepper.

Happy to see Tink made it ok to work.

I am doing laundry...going out with friends to dinner tonight.

And now I must congratulate VG for our 9000th post on this thread. :)

WOO HOO, VG!

Today I have started spring cleaning. I feel the need to simplify things. I am culling the double bookcase in the living room, removing, dusting, and only putting those I view worthy of keeping back up on the shelf. The couch is now piled with stacks of books to be discarded. There is one lone cat in the middle of those piles.

Ugh ... I need to do the exact same thing Sun.
Have a box and a bag of books I need to take to the book exchange store

Good idea, Dale! I think that's what I will do instead of taking them to school to share. There's a big used bookstore in Jax that I like. Now I need to bring home some boxes from school. I didn't plan this well.

That's okay Sun, it's those "unplanned" times that I seem to accomplish the most :)

Well....got nothing done this morning....been reviewing small portable pedalers. Seems none of them will fit well under my desk....so will have to pedal while watching tv. But they get great reviews for helping those with knee problems. :thumb:

Good luck with the spring cleaning, ladies.....I will start that when I know spring is really going to come to Illinois this year. (Any excuse to procrastinate.)

Hello, Beach Babes and Buddies. :)

Thanks for the Gratz, Sun and Glam. :D

What do you do with the books you don't want? Do you donate them to a library? Did you know you could sell them to resell stores? (2nd hand book stores) We have one in the area and it's a great place to get books cheap, with some that are very hard to find otherwise. You may not get a lot for them, but it's might be better than nothing. There are also old folks homes, etc.

Ugh ... I need to do the exact same thing Sun.

That's what ours is called... The Book Exchange. :D
