Hi Glam :) The only thing that helps keep me at a good weight is that I walk a lot. It's one of those "living in a city" things...good luck with the program :thumb:

Today was my day off...I had to get a lot done, and of course didn't get it all done  I'll have to sign off early to finish everything. But I did go out to dinner, so that was nice :D
Glam can't do a lot of walking tho'

I never get everything done either ... but I always worked better under pressure and now I don't have any of that!
Glad you had a nice dinner :)
Let's see if this one works.
    LOL's JJ, cute :D
Dale....I do not know what the pellets are....they put in about a half cup and the machines make popping noises...like popcorn, but different. The ingredients are whole wheat flour, corn flour, rice flour water and salt....so that must be what the little pellets are. I found them several months ago in a grocery store in the suburbs, and then our local store got one of the machines so now I have access to them. Also, Amazon sells them, but you have to buy 12 bags of 12.....LOL, that is a lot of air puffed cakes....they are called Coco Lites in my store...they had a different name in the other store.
Huh! Amazing the things people come up with

Dale....aren't your new meds working? Are you getting better?
Oh I got rid of the Thrush!
I've been back to the Oral Surgeon because of a spot on my tongue that never went away, he says it won't
He can cut it off but said it was better if I could tolerate it which is not a problem, the GP sent me over there because he was afraid it was cancer.
As for the BMS, that may take years to settle down if ever ... there is no cure.

The Cheetos are better.......just saying. :D
    True!

 I like Cheetos too (I buy the Cheetos Naturals, but only because they aren't bright orange :D)

I haven't tried the air puffed cakes. I wonder if they have them somewhere near me?? I'll have to check :)

But it wouldn't be the same if you didn't get the orange stuff all over your fingers.

I wonder if the process is similar to making Cheetos....they are "air puffed" :?:

I would say they are similar to the air puffed Cheetos, except I think there is oil in them....so yes, take out the oil and cheese, flatten into a pancake size and it would be very similar. On Amazon they are called Kim's Magic Pops.....zero weight watchers points!

    Your image didn't post. :(

Dinner done....hubs had grilled hamburgers and I had 1/2 grapefruit and some reconstituted dried peanut butter on whole wheat air puffy things you can get in the store. They are the size of a large pancake and excellent to eat when you want crunchy but not the calories. And I have discovered dried peanut butter....45 cal. per two tbsp. vs 190 cal. for regular. And to me it is just as good...you mix with water until smooth and then it spreads just like the whole fat peanut butter.

Yep....trying to take this diet thing pretty seriously so I can take some of the load off my knee.

Until you said crunchy, I thought the whole wheat air puffy things were some kind of new marshmallows.

    Good evening Beach(ers) :)

Hallow, Stone. :) (the way some people say Hello sounds like Hallow.) :D

 Trying not to, Dale.....these cakes are not rice cakes...they are a new product. The grocery stores that sell them have a machine...they put in these little pellets and they come out looking like a big old puffy pancake. You can get them in flavors. I buy the whole wheat ones so that I can eat them with peanut butter, or tuna, or low fat cream cheese. They do not have a lot of flavor, but they add lots of crunch, and only 15 or 20 calories. And I still take bites of anything I want...but just a bite or two. Trying to limit myself to about 1100 calories a day...but even that is a lot when you are not very active. :(

Hi, jj. Hi, Stone.

    Pellets?!!!

    Little pellet's of what

I was thinking more like "From" what?

Awwww, now you've spoiled my fun. :(

There is oil in them, but there is also oil naturally in the corn meal (the main ingredient in Cheetos). If I remember what I saw on teevee correctly, there is a required percentage of moisture in the ingredients that allow it to "puff" at a certain temperature and pressure...
    Dang they are expensive! 8-o
I didn't look them up, but Glam said you have to buy 144 of them at once  I would want to try just one first before I committed to the metric ton of them

    EDIT: Hallo VG :D

Don't you know any time they take out calories, it drives up the price. But a bag of those goes a long way, so if you buy a couple of bags...they are $2.89 a bag in the grocery store and should last a week or two. And that machine is pretty big so it probably costs a bundle.

Have you checked into enzyme supplements? Let research queen, Glam, check this out tomorrow....maybe we can find something in the natural supplements that can help. Doctors usually do not tell you about them.
