Nope, client doesn't smoke in the house unless it's raining, which is almost never. I just can't wrap my head around this. Apparently the home security system is hooked up to engage when the smoke alarm does. Oh well, would like to erase it from my memory banks anyway.

And then a cord I was working with wrapped around a dog treats jar on the kitchen countertop and toppled it crashing to pieces on the floor ... the first thing I've ever broken on a job. I packed up and left saying if I didn't, I might unintentionally annihilate their home ... an OFF day for me (rare).
The only thing that saved him from the bloody cleaver was the smiley face he put after the sentence....otherwise it would have been
