Well, yes the green puke is just on St Patty's day. And every Monday in general is weekend puke observation day before they clean it up. Ugh.

Traditional hummus is chickpeas, lemon, garlic, tahini (sesame paste), and olive oil...and traditional hummus is slightly chunky...not the smooth puree that we most often eat. The mediterranean countries will sometimes add other flavors, but like every other cuisine we Americans tend to go crazy with it and add stuff. If you like olives, try one with olives mixed in...or red peppers...or spinach/artichoke. There should be one variation out there that you can palate.I've had tradition hummus. Didn't care for it. I think I had Greek and some from another place in that region, like Indian, or something. Can't remember now.
