It's dead here and about the time that most people start leaving anyway, so I'm out for the night.

Hello from snowless (yay) Michigan, Beachers. We left at 10:15 this morning and from Chicago on, it was bumper to bumper and lots of stop and go on the interstates. Took us about an hour and a half longer than usual. But here safe and sound, and the whole family is tingling with excitement about the game tomorrow...except me. (But I am hiding it so that I do not put a damper on their mood.)

We are to be back at daughter's in the morning at 7:30 a.m. (6:30 our time)....we are tailgating before the game. :shock:

8-o Oh, boy......sitting around, eating and drinking, in the middle of a football stadium parking lot at 9 a.m. in 20 degree weather....yesiree, Bob, that sounds like a great time. :facepalm:

Anyway....I am not staying and did not back read....I got to get to bed....getting up in a few hours to put on my best football face and act like I am having a great time.

The only bright side....I do not have to cook. :banana:

Hi, Beachers......home from the cold tail gate party and watching the Bears lose in real a live game. Yep, same losing team as on the tv every week. :laugh:

The food my daughter fixed was really good...warm ham/cheese/egg sandwiches, deviled eggs, caramel pecan rolls, and mimosas...would have been a wonderful tail gate party had it been about 25 degrees warmer. :laugh:

As it was, we all took turns fighting over who was going to sit in the vehicle.....the guys gave it mostly to us ladies, but we did share from time to time. I will admit is was a fun day watching my grandsons and son in law and hubs who all love the whole atmosphere that radiates from a pro football game....and the excitement in the stadium is palpable. We went out to a nice dinner and then played a fun game at daughter's called red apple, green apple. Lots of laughs.

Now we are back in the motel and ready to relax. Tomorrow is a do nothing day with the family....which I will love, but hubs will not. He is not a sit around and visit kind of guy....he likes to be busy. Have I told you my hubs is not right?

Well I'm stuffed and everyone else is in bed but me.
Quiet is so nice.

Had a good day and that is what counts.
