Hey, Meggers.....we are alone now. Can you show me "the room?" And did you hang some hooks so we can hang these on the wall?

Hi Tink! God, what a day YOU had, huh? So glad you made it home okay and don't have to go in tonight! Any snow yet?

None yet. I have the flood light on and keep looking for it

I saw a pic of the lines in one grocery store here in G'boro. People must think they are going to be snowed in for 2 weeks

Hello, TinkerBabe.

I'd ask them to try a different hand/arm/vein this time.

VG - it has to be on the right side where the doctor is. They've already punched both of the big veins in the top of my hand and tried a vein in my forearm twice. I guess the vein just collapses after he gets the needle in there. It burned like fire when he tried a test liquid to see if it would work.

Question for you, Tink. Would it be plausible to use the big vein that goes down toward the big toe to anesthetize someone? Looking for options in case needed.

Yeah, you can use that one. We use feet veins (if pt isn't diabetic) if we can't get one in the hand/arm.

Do you usually have trouble getting IVs? Maybe the other day was just a bad day and tomorrow they will be able to pop it in without any trouble!

Why does it have to be on the same side as the doctor??

Sister still has two inches of ice on part of her driveway and all of the sidewalk/front porch. I worry about her getting out there to shovel a path. She has COPD and is not supposed to be breathing cold air for very long.
