Hi VG

Guess you can keep Meggers company since we're on the outs :?:

Somehow, I don't think I'm his type. :p No, I think you'll have to kiss and make up.

Hi Dale. insurance never did call. I'll give them until tomorrow eve and then guess I will have to bite the bullet and pay it. No nap for me today. If we keep having days like this I may be swimming in mid April!

Why not keep calling until you reach someone to talk to about it?

I don't know. He talked about electrical, plumbing, construction, and roofing, but nothing about being a pilot.

I have something I'm going to at about 7:00 tonight, so I'm gonna start getting ready for that. I'll be back before I leave.
Still doing that huh? Enjoy yourself :)

It took all week, but the house (downstairs) is in good shape :thumb: Just in time for me to go to work for 3 days so it can get messed up again :glare:

    Poor Tink! :p

I'm sure feeling it tonight after spending the day on the road yesterday and then working today

I'm sure!! Traveling will wear you out, not to mention the emotional stress you are under. Then having a rough day at work! :( Maybe you could tell your boss you won't be available for a little while??

I am glad she got to go home :) Hospice does some great work. I typically don't donate to the United Way at work (personal reasons) but when I do, I direct my contribution to be sent to Hospice.

Huh, I didn't know you could do that :)
Guess I should meet these people some where along the way huh?

Oh Tink, is it terrible to say I hope this doesn't drag out?

Not terrible at all, Dale  I think most people feel that way, when they see someone they love suffering. I think it would be unusual for anybody to want it to drag out.

On the one hand I'm not ready but on the other I know she is tired and ready.

Then there's the fact that none of this really seems to be sinking in  Maybe that's just me, I do tend to withdraw :(

It is probably your way of self preservation…. protecting yourself from the reality of it. I highly recommend trying to talk to one of the Hospice workers if you can. They have materials for family members to read. I think reading those could really help you through this, Dale.

    Reading is good

It was kind of humorous yesterday at the hospital. You know mom can't really talk anymore, she tries to write but it's really really hard to read  Between just knowing her so well and being able to lip read her a bit I knew more of what she was wanting and writing than just about anyone else  Kept having to tell the nurses and doctor's what she was saying/wanting.

 Instead of the blind leading the blind, it was the deaf translating for the mute
