Good Morning Beachmates :D

Dale, your 'good morning' posts always make me hungry! :drool: :laugh: Breakfast food is my favorite!

I guess I'm going to have a busy day :glare: After church I need to run a few errands. Then I guess I will go see my MIL. Hubs is sick with a bad cold and sore throat so he doesn't need to be going to the rehab center/nursing home. Then I need to get groceries - that is usually hubs' chore. So, no lazy Sunday for me! :(

I hope to be around this evening :D

Good morning Tink :)
Guess it's a good thing I only do those on Sunday huh? ;)

Your day sounds yucky, busy :( Hope your DH starts feeling better soon!

Thanks! Me too! Men don't make the best patients :facepalm: ;)

Gotta get ready (whether I want to or not :laugh:). See ya later and I hope you have a wonderful, lazy Sunday!!

So, my to-do list got a little shorter :laugh: Church services were cancelled (we have a little freezing rain) and hubs doesn't trust me to get the 'right' groceries :lol:

I'm going to go see my grandfather, run a couple errands, go see MIL and then come home :D

Maybe I will have the opportunity for a lazy afternoon?? :rolleyes:

    Good afternoon, Beachers:)

    ......whew!! She is gone, and now our lives are mundane again. We watched Walking with Dinosaurs last night....did not get over until a little after 9, got her to bed, and I was wiped. Too wiped to even come say good night. Up at 7....fixed her breakfast, called and invited the neighbor girl over, and she came over at 9:30, with a whole bag of dress up clothes. So I had to be the peasant audience while they paraded their Princess Elsa, Ariel, Snow White, Ana, and Rapunzel selves around in my living room....they finally tired out, and we watched an older movie, Legend, together. And the little 66 (she is not 666 any more....she is much better) girl next door started crying hysterically when they cut the unicorn's horn off, so my granddaughter consoled her and held her hand and explained that things would get better in the movie. (They are 3 months apart in age.) It was really cute, but I did feel bad for the neighbor girl...I did not know she got emotional during movies. I fixed them a plate of sliced apples, Cheese-Its, and string cheese and she got over her tears and finished watching the movie which had a very happy ending so she went home smiling and the granddaughter went home happy that she got to play with her next door friend...who has the best toys of anyone in the county. :laugh:

    And now I am on the computer for the first time since yesterday afternoon. Just in time to avoid withdrawal symptons. :D

    Now back reading.

    Hey, Jaws made quite a splash in it's day :lol:

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Yes, it did. I took my daughter, who was born loving scary movies to see it. I think she was 3.....when that big old fish came up out of the water, we both jumped and screamed....but so did every one else in the theater, so no one heard us. :laugh:

    LOL....my hubs likes to go get the groceries too....because he says he only gets what we need, and I am an impulse buyer. Well, yes, he does not over buy.....but he also does not check prices or comparison shop, so I don't think he saves us a penny. But as long as he THINKS he does, I will let him do the shopping. That way, I can tell him I am only spending on vapenalia what he saves on groceries. :facepalm:
