Totally sleepless night. I finally got up for good a while ago and started drinking coffee. I have an early dental appt so have to be up now for that. I may have trouble staying awake and keeping my mouth open once they gas me lol.

A laid back day here.....gotta pack up cake, drinks and utensils this afternoon for sis' birthday party. Hubs is going with me....yay, I do not have to make that trip alone.
For her birthday, I got her a whole bag of that expensive bulk candy from the grocery store....that $12 a pound stuff that you will not buy for yourself.....choc. covered almonds, yogurt covered raspberries, etc. I scooped it from the bins.....and of course, I had to sample some as I was putting it in the gift bag when I got home.

Sorry to hear this.....I slept ok, but REALLY did not want to get up. Dang government, screwing up our lives!!

I don't do the classes but that is pretty much what they look like.
The reason I don't is because they pretty much to arthritis classes. Nothing wrong with them but I want to more exercise type stuff.

I didn't get called in last night
Today I gotta do laundry Speaking of laundry…. Meggers needs to get back here! 
I guess I will call and get an appointment with a family practice doctor today. I tried last week to get an appointment with an endocrinologist, to see if they could help me figure out my malaise, weight gain, etc. I have many symptoms of hypothyroidism… but the blood work a couple of years ago showed my TSH to be within normal limits. From what I've read/heard, you really need to have a full panel done, that looks at ALL the hormones associated with the thyroid, not just the TSH, T3 and T4.
I couldn't get an appt with an endocrinologist without a referral. So, I called the GP doc I (thought I) have. Turns out, I had not been there in over 3 years so I am no longer a patient. And she isn't accepting new patients
I got a name of one from one of my co-workers, and he said she is excellent. I guess I will call and get an appointment Have I mentioned I hate going to the doctor??
So…. if y'all don't hear from me for a few days, I am probably stuck in the recorded phone messages, desperately pushing buttons to get to a real person

Oh I feel for you Tink. That was the biggest aggrevation of the estate thing. Just hearing a recorded message giving me options put me into mode.

I didn't either
It may just be certain doctors offices that do that. But…. it is like you are penalized if you don't go to the doctor every year 
I do go to my gyno every year, but don't feel like I need another check up every year by a GP. I just need a GP if I get sick or need a referral

I'm not saying my diet is perfect But, I have tried eating right and have done certain regimens (ie, advocare, the skinny gut diet, etc) and can not lose a pound. Then I get discouraged/...... and start eating again… and gain MORE weight Also, I have other symptoms, so would like to get thyroid checked. And, if it is not thyroid, maybe a full blood workup will show something that is causing it 
She may just tell me I am lazy and to get my azz off the couch

I have been working on my bathroon most of the morning.....I cannot believe how many jars of face creams, moisturizers, body lotions, hand creams, etc. that I have accumulated. AND NONE OF THEM WORK!!!!!
I had a bottle of body lotion with a pump that was almost empty, so I dumped some baby oil in that and put a lot of those jarred creams in that bottle and shook them up with the baby oil...maybe my own concoction will give me baby smooth skin. (This is a very tongue-in-cheek statement. ) Or maybe there will be a chemical reaction from all those formulas mixed and my skin will be eaten away. 
But at lease my storage areas in the bathroom look better.
