Wrong. I'm that old, hehe

Have any of you had the classic dream of appearing naked inappropriately in public? Or flying? I do the flying thing most often. It's easy, just hold your arms out like you're hanging on parallel bars and GO! Too bad it doesn't work that way after you wake up.

Ok, doing dreams now!

For a few months 10 years ago, I had recurring dreams I was flying along the ocean surface. I would flap my arms hard but just couldn't get higher, end up hopping along the surface. And of course, a giant shark comes chasing me. This would go on for miles until I finally got to a white sand beach on a primeval island and thought I was safe. But nooooooo...the shark pops out of the sand!!

So, I'm running from the shark, coming around some rocky dunes and what's on the other side.....Godzilla! 8-o

I think I had career issues then!

My recurring dream is of being close to a man, and he's trying to kiss me, and I just feel like melting into him, but I am resisting, and it is so hard to resist that it's almost painful. At that point, I wake up in a fever all sweaty.
That's pretty hot Sea. Dayum. You need a boyfriend, LOL.

They do, JaG - but it's in a pictured code. I'll get you that info later.

No I've never had either of those dreams, but I know ppl who have. My dad used to fly all the times in his dreams. He used to tell me how much he enjoyed getting his speed up and doing banked swirls - lol, if that makes sense.

I think the resistance in the dream was b/c many years ago when I was still a gullible lass, I was dating a married man. It slipped out from his best friend. It was when I lived in OR and the man was on a logging trip from Idaho. I was so horrified that I was dating a married man that I couldn't even talk to him after that. Marriage is a sacred union to me. I never repeated my mistake, though - I investigated everyone I dated first by asking around first.

I concur. She might have been seeking companionship and a soul mate. :)

I got up to 30 feet, but kept losing altitude.

Watched too much Jaws and Godzilla movies!

I was 54 years old before I ever had a relationship with a married woman. It lasted two years and I wouldn't want to undo it. It was likely the best two years of either of our lives. I am sad by my knowledge of her current condition and am glad that I gave her some happy times.

In my flying dreams it's really an effort. I mean, like running hard kinda effort. But, when I wake up and realize it was a dream I'm sooooo disappointed.

Night Lisa, so sorry I nearly missed you, but glad I didn't.

Me too, always had to have a running start to take off like a plane!

It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. :)

Sea, you gonna chastise me for my admitted adultery? Understand, not all marriages are made in heaven, before you do.

I really am concerned about her. I don't see anything I can do though. Voluntary forclosure: Her husband is hard time alcoholic, and abusive. I've seen the bruises, explained in the normal ways for an abuse victim to explain. The bad part is, she's still with the ........ Why, oh, why do people stay in abusive relationships???? I was in one myself. I held in there for a few years, and escaped.
