Lower battery tube and telescopic tube fit

Just got my ssggts #073, it is very beautiful and functions just as beautifully. But I was wondering about something, the lower battery tube and the telescopic tube has some side to side movement. I screw it down all the way but it seems to move side to side, parallel to the threads. Is this something I should worry about or is this totally normal. It functions just fine I was just wondering if anyone else has this happening on their ssggts as well as mine

Since no one else has answered, I will. It is nothing to worry about. It may have a little movement, but it shouldn't rattle around. Just don't get frisky and over tighten the telescope. Slightly snug is all you need, do not over tighten it. I am no GGTS expert by any means, but this has been my experience with the aluminum one I have... and expect no different from the SS I will hopefully have tomorrow.

Ainako, its ok buddy. Tight threads on steel will lead to stuck threads. Thats why the movememt exists. Tight a little more the telescope and you will be ok

Mine moves ever so slightly also, not a big problem.

Mine too - no problem for me. If we want a telescope, we have to accept a tiny amount of play.

This happens with mine also - glad someone asked this question tho as I was wondering about it myself , will tighten it up a bit then so it moves less ( was scared to over tighten but it moves from side to side quite a bit this way )
