Lower nicotine level with cart-o-tank?

Just ventured into trying a cart-o-tank after reading "most" of BadAttitudes blogs. I put my favorite juice with around a 16-18 nic level. The flavor was great. After vaping for awhile it seemed that I was only tasting the nic. Have you folks noticed you needed to lower you nic level once you switched to cart-o-tanks?

I think for most people it works the other way around i.e. using RBAs, people have a tendency to lower the nicotine level. One problem with carts, after a few days use, the flavor can become muted.

I'm vaping between cartomizers and clearomizer so my tastes to either isn't affected. They both taste great. I'll have to try just vaping on the cartomizer to see if it becomes muted. I have no doubt it might as it has done so on the clearomizer when it was my sole way to vape.

i agree with john333 never had a problem with the cartos you may have gotten a flavor overload which has freaked out your taste buds thats why some experience a muted flavor

Ive gotten to where it went from wow too bland but that was with any delivery device ive tried. Change juices, eat something ect ect. The flavor often comes right back for me especially after a meal.

The most recent juice i tried in a carto was only a little over 12mg and the throat hit felt much stronger than a sweeter 16mg for some reason. Same tank, same carto same PG/VG ratio and same watt settings, so sometimes it might be the flavor needs some power adjustment too.

I am beginning to think i can lower my nic level at least in some juices with a carto vs clearo but its too soon to tell.
