Hey Elf, next time you go over to DeejStuff, check out the Traditional's I think it's called; he has a "Extreme Blast" Menthol you might want to try. I've heard other's say it will blow you outta the water

I've been trying to find a band looking for singers since I moved to Florida. It's mostly duos or small already established groups down here. I should check my email.

I survived the show last night there were only about 8 other people in the theater. I was able to vape the whole time
Katie's sister loved it lol she was freaking out the whole time
We also continued our weekend of eating raw things. Yesterday was 67 pieces of assorted sushi. Not the imitation crab meat and shrimp kind, we had eel, salmon tuna and a bunch of different kinds I can't remember

Sorry I've missed all the good chatting. Watched TV with DH last night, I thought I'd have a minute to pop in, but didn't, then afterward I was too sleepy to chat.
So I just caught up, but all the pics and talk of food, and recipes...I'm very hungry now....
I think that I'll make the wet burritos for dinner. I did a quick freezer inventory, and I have some smoked, pulled pork still from that event DH helped cook/serve at, he brought home oodles of extra that was left over, so some of that may go into the crockpot in the morning with some BBQ, for a variation of Elf's recipe. I did blog that for the recipe collection. Thank you for sharing all your good recipes with us!! Elf, you're the BESTEST!!Deej, bless your heart. You ARE a kitty, you do have the nine lives deal goin on!! That was a HORRIBLE bicycle accident!!
I took a couple bad spills on bicycles as a kid. Went over the handlebars once after hitting a stationary object while riding on a sidewalk. Road rash on the face, and the hoo hah vs. the upright post where the handlebars are bolted to the frame did not feel good. I think I was about 12 then. The other time I was about 5 or 6. I was riding with older kids in the neighborhood. Rode down a hill that had a curve in the bottom of it and WIPED OUT in loose pea sized gravel at the bottom. I want to say I had a hairline fracture of my jaw, but nothing was wired or anything. My mom said that the inside of my mouth (cheek) looked like a raw slice of liver. NASTY.
So, I was all the way back at the granny panties story when I started this morning. OMG, I'd have DIED right there....right there on THE SPOT. I'm afraid I'd have to go get a P.O. Box Tues a.m. when they open...LOL....just sayin.....

We finally got some rain last night. We've needed it. It has been skirting Deej hot here. Friday on my way home from work, it said the feels like temp was 108. Yesterday was the same too. It's just been crazy hot here the last week or so. It's supposed to be cooler now for a couple days at least. Thankfully!!
......okay, back in a bit. Going to go scare up some breakfast.

That reminded me of another story... Remember phone booths? With the foldy doors and everything? Some of them had concrete posts to keep cars from bumping into them?
A friend and I lost a frisbee on top of one of those, so I figured I'd climb one of those posts to get it.
Well, I got it... but before I could get off the post my feet slipped and I went straight down.
Unfortunately, the post was just a few inches taller than my... inseam.

Never do a cannonball into a pool until after you know how deep said pool is.
Yes, the water dripping into a coffee pot is boiling hot and it's not the hot plate making the coffee hot.
If your chain comes off your bike while riding down a gravel road, do not try to stop the bike with your bare feet. Coast until it stops.
Electric fences do have an electrical charge running through them. No, you will not die (I was very young and waited all day for me to die).
If you have an electric skillet and there is water in it and it is plugged in but turned off, there is still electric current running through there. Do not put your hand in the sink of water and put your hand in the water in the skillet. It's just a gentle current, not enough to make you jerk.
I really have stopped being quite so curious.
