Teach your kids which petal stops a car. My brother floored the station wagon into the center of our road when he accidentally took it out of gear. My son floored the gas on a friends car when she forgot to put it In park and got out. Took out the side of a house- son was in back seat till car started rolling down the hill

That's really a good idea. You never know when a child may need to know that.
I put a car through a garage door once. My older sister was driving, she'd backed the car out of the garage, got out to close the door. She had just cleared the front of the car when I pulled down on the (collar) shifter. Course that's when garage doors were wooden, and cars were tanks, and children were completely unrestrained in cars, we could sit or stand anywhere.

I learned not to ever ride a horse when she's "in season" I think they called it, and certainly NOT when there is a stud horse anywhere near the vicinity. The stud horse WILL come through the fence, and you WON'T barely have time to get off the horse you're riding. Scared me within an inch of my life!!

What I Did Today
Today I left some dishes dirty,
The bed got made around 3:30.
The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.
The crumbs I spilled the day before
Are staring at me from the floor.
The fingerprints there on the wall
Will likely be there still next fall.
The dirty streaks on those windowpanes
Will still be there next time it rains.
Shame on you, you sit and say,
Just what did you do today?
I held a baby till she slept,
I held a toddler while he wept.
I played a game of hide and seek,
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.
I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows, I guess that's s true.
Unless you think that what I've done,
Might be important to someone
With the most beautiful eyes and softest hair,
If that is true... I've done my share.

*yawn* Just can't seen to get motivated today :/ Fell asleep during Mod Envy last night and have been worthless ever since. I guess I should be grateful that I got laundry & cleaning done... Seems like rain should come today to make it a completely miserable and wasted day, although I do love rainy days... I never accomplish much :/
