Just hoping, sometimes I think what's on our mind keeps us awake, even if we don't really realize it, thought maybe reading would be enough of a distraction to trick the mind....it was a stretch, ehh??
Oh definitely what's on my mind that keeps me awake, just goes round & round

Gonna have to shut that off ;)

Is that possible? Hehehe! I wish!
I can't read before bed either. I'll be up all night saying...ok I'll put it down after this chapter:lol: trust me I've done it before.

So, what is the difference? :?:
You sleep better or worse when it's on?

I sleep better but it's hard for me to fall asleep without it. When I turn it off before I fall asleep I find myself wide awake. Now I try to set the timer on the tv to automatically turn itself off. I think I read somewhere that sleeping with it on keeps your mind active...or something like that. The theory is that you're still hearing the tv in your sleep so the brain doesn't get to shut down completely for rest I guess. But of course you prob already knew that.

Special Tribute to a loss at such an early age.........Paul Walker, may he rest in peace. I thought the second photo was just a little eerie. I hate to admit it but I didn't even know who he was. I've never seen Fast and Furious. (unless you count when my husband is driving)

Hi Slots! Great to see you!! How are you doing these days?
    View attachment 279247

Doing good. Just finished doing a show, so tired and happy.
Now to get ready for Christmas ... packages for the east coast to pack and mail, cards to write, ... etc etc.
I made up 15 little test bottles of juice before I left for the show, so I have lots of new testers to try soon.

Hey .. How did you like the "goodies"????
What did you think of the ones you tried ???
Don't worry you can't hurt my feelings .. I'll just tell you it's your fault, cause your taste buds suck

He's dead! What happened?! He's so young, I liked him :(

    Edit:
Actor Paul Walker — a self-styled adrenaline junkie best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” movies — was killed Saturday in a fiery single-car wreck in Southern California.
The 40-year-old Walker was riding in a red Porsche GT about 3:30 p.m. when the sports car flew off the road and slammed into a tree in Santa Clarita, authorities and witnesses said. The car burst into flames.

BTW ... wonderful DDD :) Thank you!

I agree, wonderful DDD!! Sad about Paul Walker, but I haven't seen any of those movies either. The article I read said that he was the passenger, that a friend was driving, and was only going 45, that's still fast to hit a tree.

    Morning all!!

Chim, from what I've read, you are supposed to sleep in a room that is totally dark, in fact if necessary, you are supposed to black out your windows, and even cover your clock. Here is one article I've read, there are several if you google it.

Sleeping in Darkness - How Does Light Impact Your Weight?

Dale, will Tim expect you at work if you get ice?? Ugh, this weather is yuck!!

Yes he will Lori, even if he has to come and get me

I've seen some of the "Fast & Furious" movies, they are pretty good, DS was a fan :)

Oh! Good morning Lori
