i just emailed you dear.

Well I got a ton of Vicodin, just the few Xanax they gave me though. Normally i do not like taking drugs but today they are definitely needed. Well on my way to getting my "issue's" all fixed and am very happy about that.

Got your email and responded to it. Again, so happy to see you beautiful!

i am soooooooo sorry, guys. i didn't really think anyone would notice me being gone for a short while. i feel awful and great at the same time. awful cause i made you worry, and great cause you did! :)

i have some issues that make me have to "go away" suddenly at times. it's a medical/mental/emotional thing and i don't always get a warning sign. so a million "i'm sorry's" to you all. if it happens again, at least you will know.

i hope everyone is having a good week. believe me, i have missed you all too. thanks so very much for your concern. big hugs to each and every one of you. ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Yeaaaa! You're back! We're just glad you're ok! Hugs right back at cha ladybug!!

Hi all! :)
Dale, have a great time at the BD party!
There isn't really a recipe for green chili stew. This is what I put in it yesterday (it varies depending on mood and what's in the pantry. :D)
I toss boneless/skinless chicken in the crockpot and cover with water or chicken broth (4 thighs.) Add garlic and onion (fresh or dried... doesn't matter.) Cook it until the meat is fall apart tender and then shred it. Put it back in the crock pot.
Add pinto beans (I added four cans), a can of Rotel, a bunch of green chili (if you don't have fresh, canned is fine. - About 4 or 5 cans.) Let it all heat up good (another hour maybe.)
Top with whatever you want. I had grated cheese and green chili dip on hand, so that's what we put on it. (Lettuce, tomato and sour cream are good too if you don't have green chili dip.)
You can add or remove according to your taste. Potatoes are good in it for example.
And that's it. Very easy and it tastes like you 'really' cooked. lol

Aaron... on the couch sounds like a very good place for you to be today! Hope you mend quickly.

GG and Haze... love the wiggly eyes on your mods.

I'll take any of the rain that you guys are sick of. ;)

What movies are in store for you Aaron?

I'm planning to watch 'Loving Lamposts' today. (Not a movie, but a documentary by a dad, about his son who has autism.)
May put on The Village later. I love that movie. And the music. James Newton Howard is a genius. ;) (Classical isn't for everyone I guess... but man... this is beautiful. If I'm not doing great when it's time for lights out at night, I play this, close my eyes and it carries to me a quiet place. Hope that doesn't sound toooo corny.:D)

Not corny at all dear, music takes me to many magical places. I completely agree about James Newton Howard, I love his scores so much! Hans Zimmer will always be my favorite though, his music moves me in such a beautiful way.

Going to be a Chan-Woo Park night for me I think, just got his new film "Stoker" and while I heard it wasn't his best I am curious to see his first film with American actors. I watch a lot of Korean films and his "Vengeance trilogy" are some of my favorites, especially "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" Also LOVE "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" may have to watch that one again tonight. One of the greatest movies about mental illness I have seen, so beautiful!

hi kayte :)
thanks and you are very perceptive, hon.

Eh.. I've got my own stuff and it can make me want to disappear for a bit, too. ;) :toast: And I have a close friend that deals with clinical depression. She vanishes on me frequently. It's all good. I've learned the signs and I'm a patient woman. I'm glad you found a great group of people here to hang out with. And YAY for Rhonda grounding you.

Hey Lori! I am! It looks like I was lurking but I had to take Prince to the vet today. Glad to be back in from all of this rain!
Nah, I don't really pay attention to who's in and who's out. Hope all is well with Prince! I have a feeling more rain is on the way for you too.

It's supposed to head up the east coast and looks like it will be over Norfolk (2 hours south of me) tomorrow afternoon. Going to be a breezy, soggy day here tomorrow. Guess there's no point in mopping any floors because the dogs don't know how to wipe their feet.
.....nope. But if you're not going to mop, then I'M NOT GOING TO EITHER...:lol::lol:...all I needed was a good excuse, and BAM...there you have it!! Thanks Elf my buddy!!:D

Feeling pretty good right now ;)
I would imagine sooooooo. :p
