Some days I have to run from violent films, other days... as long as the bad guy 'gets it' in the end, I seem to seek that kind of stuff out.
I don't like horribly gory violence (chainsaw movies.. things like that ) but, I can handle sort of 'cleaned up' violence, if that makes sense.
And I have an off button. I love that button.

Sounds good. I've been in a terrible rut lately... could use some new ideas!

Oh no! Glad you checked in and that you're okay. Sorry about your fence!

I am the same way sometimes. I usually do not like violence for violence's sake but I do love a good story where bad people get what they deserve in the end.

Just checked and Lady Vengeance, Old Boy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok are all available to stream on netflix. They can be disturbing though so be warned if you want to check them out. Cyborg is not really violent, there are some violent scenes in it but it is really a touching story about love and mental illness.

Yea!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I'm not going to mop my floors in honor of all of you getting rain today.
I guess I could 'not mop' as a water conservation measure. ;)
......sorry, we're a bad influence....:p

Maybe we should start a recipe thread: Victorious Vapers Recipe Book

..or something.
Yes, PLEASE!! I won't have much to offer, because I'm a horrible cook, but I can find some goodies to post!
I'm really out of good ideas too.

How about one for all these movies too!!!

Only got a minute... Kelli, I am so glad you are ok...but yes grounded!!!! We had a storm last night with 80 to 110 mph winds, so big clean up here...the town has very little power and crap everywhere and I have no fence anymore! Check in later
Thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

Here's what's cooking at our house tonight:

Ranch Chicken Enchiladas

2 cups cooked chicken
¾ cup shredded cheese, Mexican blend
½ cup bottled Ranch dressing
¼ cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons chopped green chilies
1 large can (19 oz.) Enchilada sauce
4 large tortillas (8 – 10 inch size)

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine first five ingredients and mix well. Pour a bit of the enchilada sauce in the bottom of a baking dish sprayed with PAM. Divide filling between 4 (or 5) of the tortillas; roll them up. Put in baking dish, seam side down. Pour remaining enchilada sauce over top. Top with more Mexican blend shredded cheese.

Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until hot in the middle and cheese is starting to turn golden. Serve with Salsa and more sour cream, if desired.

Looks awesome!!!

Lori, I buy an already cooked rotisserie chicken a couple of times a month. I can get a lot of mileage out of those. I pull the meat and bag it up in 2 cup packages, then boil up the carcass for soup and/or stock.
I do that too actually, not always twice a month, but once a month for sure!! There is nothing better than broth from the carcass!!

If I have/take the time, Ina Garten has a good, super easy recipe for roasted chicken with vegetables, so I make that occasionally too. Easy peasy.

We eat so much chicken, I swear I'm about to grow feathers. When we give Skipper (the parrot) some with his dinner, we tell him we're having "cousin" tonight.

Yum elf! But that doesn't look like enough for all of us!

There's a place over here by me that makes a wonderful steak burrito. It's diced steak grilled with potatoes, onions and peppers/chili's, , wrapped in a flour tortilla, then topped with cheese and green chili sauce. It is so so good!

Okay. I'm officially hungry.

Haha Lori... not mopping floors today seems like a good influence to me. ;)
