Dale. Jut swish it. Leave in contact with tongue about a half hour. Couple times a day. It has good bacteria in it. You could just drink it and let the body do the fixin.
I hate it too. But I KNOW it works.

 Leave it on my tongue for half an hour?!?
    Ugh! I'll swallow it:laugh:

That's not gloating...that's just love the way it supposed to be! Some of the kids I teach have no idea what commitment means...I told one onetime to think of his wife like his child. He was pretty puzzled by this..so I ask him if he would ever desert his child if they made a mistake or would he stand behind them and work thru it with them. These days marriage seem to be like paper plates...disposable!
    :toast:
Have you seen the disposable paper wedding dresses?
But then there are the ones who try hard for 30 years and then get nothing out of it and just give up trying. I think 30 years is a long time to try and cry for something, especially if it's only 1/2 of the couple trying.
Breaks my heart when that happens.

    1) not really sure why I started smoking. Parents smoked, friends smoked. Everyone smoked around me. I guess it was just a natural progression to adulthood. I was 16.
    2) Hubby suggested ecigs for traveling. He's never smoked but has watched me try to quit many times and has seen my nic fits when planes are delayed. When I was smoking, I could and did prepare myself for however many hours it would be without a cig. If there is a delay..... I just would get antsy. He was under the impression that ecigs were ok on planes :) After he suggested them, I started researching and all searches led back here, to ECF. Of course I discovered that vaping is not allowed on planes but is ok in most airports, discretely and not blatantly. It took about a month vaping and smoking before the cigs lost the battle and went away with just barely a whimper. Vaping is way more pleasurable than smoking.

I'm happy to see everyone check in. :)
I wish my searching had led to ecf! I really dislike that certain companies have certain search engines in their palm. ;) But that's okay... the ones I started with did the trick and I kept hunting until I found the good stuff. If I hadn't been in such a hurry I probably would have started off with better gear, but I was in no mood to wait. lol
I like that smokes went away 'with barely a whimper'.

    Why did I start...
I started smoking when I was 35. I grew up with my mom who smoked like a freight train and I hated it and swore I would never touch them. I never thought it was cool. I was going through a really bad divorce, working and going to nursing school at night, raising two kids, got raped, tried to kill myself, went to psychiatric treatment and everyone smoked in there and they looked so relaxed...so i bummed..found out later it was the Valium and not the cigs..didn't really get hooked in there, but dealing with all the fallout from what I had done sent me to cigs and alcohol...cigs stuck..alcohol didn't.

    Why I quit...
Doc said lungs were sounding way funky so i started my quest....I tried Zyban, Chantix, gum, patches, you name it...no luck! Then last Christmas, my SIL had mall cigalike and was doing very well with it...it caught my attention so I got my first mall ecig. I am lucky in that after I found vapor couture, I have not desired a cig since.
I always thought smoking looked calming and relaxing and that's what I wanted. I went through rape too and the cigs were like a lifeline. If I felt like I was going to explode, I'd smoke. (Smoking is not as messy as exploding. ;)) I wish vaping had been available back then though. It pisses me off that I turned to something harmful to self medicate. Hmmm... we're sort of like BigPharma aren't we? It'll kill ya in the end, but you'll feel better now... ask your doctor if this 'smoke' is right for you.

I'm glad your DH figured out that you're a treasure worth giving up drinking for. A strong, beautiful, intelligent woman is better than any drink. And you made it through nursing school! Look at you now!
Grand baby is born. I'm waiting for my daughter to get here so we can go to the hospital together. I will take pics and post them tonight. :D

Congratulations!!! Have fun holding your newest little one and bring us pics!

Poor dale!!! Maybe you can plug your nose and just do the swishing part and spit it out. And spit like you mean it. :D

Welcome to JoyTClouds and Curls! I've called and ordered a half dozen pizza's. They should be here soon so just help yourself. ;)

DJ... you're missed! Hope you're having fun in all the busyness. :)

Well when you get back please tell me if your SpitFire tasted "harsh" when you first started using it. So far I'm not liking it at all!

No sweetie, it didn't have a harsh taste at all to me, in fact it was very smooth IMHO.

    Feeling better today Angel?

Yes I am, thank you sweet girl, much better. Almost back to normal ;) (((Kayte)))

Oooh elf! That pizza looks great and I'm going to have to try it. :w00t:

    Hi Jerry!

DJ! Glad to see you stop in! :) My philosophy is more like we take the good and bad in life because both help shape us and make us into strong and kind people. Life is such an adventure! Most days.

So glad you're feeling better Angel! Is the drama reference about the answers to how/why you started smoking-why you quit? I really enjoyed reading all the responses and getting to know everyone a little bit better. Or are you talking about something else? :)

I really need to go clean out a closet full of fabric that I'm never going to use so I can stick other stuff in there. Anyone want to help? (I have such a hard time getting rid of things like that and need someone to pry it out of my hands.:laugh:)
