So.....here's a question.
What brought you here & why did you stay?
I was like Stormy, just wandering around not really knowing how to get involved & thinking about leaving.
Then I found her thread here and somehow along the way met some really wonderful & fascinating people!
You guys really make my day:) I would be totally bored out of my mind without you guys & long gone from the forum!
And now I'm just always all over the place & having a ball; but I always start here & I always end here

Well, first and foremost I identified with the title of the thread. I mean look at my join date and how few posts I have relatively speaking. When I first started with ecigs they were pretty new and I wasn't happy with the performance so I joined ECF and started reading. I read a lot and learned some good stuff but I never felt inclined to join in the discussions. I'm not sure why I changed my mind really but I think it was mainly because it seemed as if the community as a whole had matured a bit and there appeared to be more things going on with it than in the past.

I stayed because of Stormy frankly. She made me feel comfortable and welcome despite the fact she didn't know me from Adam. That was something I didn't feel so much of in some other conversations I had attempted to join in previously. And then of course, I got to meet and know all the rest of you wonderful folks who inhabit this little space within the confines of ECF. I feel blessed to have found this place and all of you!

I still lurk around from time to time but home for me is always gonna be this thread! :)

Hmm, I wonder if I should enlighten Dale on what the kids nowadays associate to that hand gesture ... nah, not going there! :D

We are talking Varsity for u me n charm :)
So that's what it is :) no name given
I think I fiddled with it too much the negative lead broke.
I'll order something on fri. But will call if I break this one in the mean time.
Enhanced? How? I think I like the silica better. Easier to change flavors.
Which wire is thicker? 28 or32?

Yep, it's a Phoenix V4 RDA for sure! Ah, yeah the leads can get a little brittle after awhile and if you fiddle with it too much! :D
Yes, just let me know, I've got plenty! If you like big clouds and a little easier draw, you can drill out the existing air hole just a smidgen. If you want to really fumigate a room, you can run dual coils and drill a matching air hole on the opposite side of the cap ... you could probably set off fire alarms with that setup! :D

28 GA is thicker ... I know, seems backwards but higher numerically is actually smaller in diameter.

Well ......... while we are discussing facts & figures about RDA's; I also have a question.
Did I read somewhere that you are not suppose to let the coil wire's touch the sides of the atomizer ...... or did I dream that?

Ah, very astute young lady! That is correct. You don't want any part of the coil to touch the sides or it will result in a hard short and pop it. So if it was a dream, it was at least a realistic one! My dreams tend to be wacky and nonsensical.

Well, let's see if I can put it back together. I came to ECF from google while researching e-cigs and joined. I remember seeing this thread when it first popped up, but didn't really post anywhere at that point. One of my first posts was in Angel's (SexySod, wasn't it then?) "why can't they leave me alone" thread; then over in her "god has a funny sense of humor" thread. Then I popped in on Dale's "simple things learned on ecf" thread and Angel invited me over to this one.

I still look in on the New Members and General threads, and check the Legislation threads, but I'm here more than anywhere else.

Oh! Stupid me, I thought everyone knew that one:facepalm: yes, that hand shape is ASL for I Love You or as we know it ILY :)

Good to know ahead of time!:D Thought I saw that somewhere .... gonna need that info soon:D

    Quick fly by, pop in.
Long day, but I knew it would be. The gal is going to be out AT LEAST another week, and deep down I knew that she'd be gone longer than just the one week. I'll survive. LOL.
Just extra busy this time of year working short handed.

Will post how I ended up here when I return. BBL.

Awwww! What was it about last night?!?
I'd like to know the answer to that, too. Although it's more than just last night. Seems a lot of us have been having trouble sleeping. Maybe it's just too hot? (I don't do summer very well.) If I get too hot when I'm sleeping it sets off nightmares. I need one of those a/c fan things that shoots cool air up under the sheet at your feet. I doubt I could used to it. I'm soooo 'the princess and the pea'. :laugh::laugh:

LOL  It's been brought to my attention that some don't know the meaning of the hand  That's American Sign Language for I Love You. :)
I stumbled on ecf while researching e-cigs. What a fount of information! Too much information! I joined but didn't talk much. When I did I was pretty much invisible. Still seems that way sometimes.

I've been vaping for over 1 1/2 years and I still don't know anything but basics. I know what I like at this point and haven't really felt the need to experiment further, so information threads don't usually catch my attention. I read in the legislation section and try to be on top of what's going on there.

I knew Stormy before she started this thread and she was just a genuinely warm person. Like Haze... I felt welcome by her and comfortable. It was nice to find a thread to relax in and get to know you guys/ladies.
Dale, you're just the same at making others feel welcome and comfortable.

What keeps me here: The Lurker thread is pretty cool, and I really have fun here... until the man-bashing starts.
Oh. That's another reason I come... for the man bashing. Just kidding! I'm not into bashing men. In general. There's a few I could bash,
    riding.gif
but they don't reside on ecf. :D

So I'm thinking thicker will be easier? Maybe 30? Or am I wrong?

Well, it might be a little less likely to break however, it will also mean your resistance will drop. If you want a lower resistance coil than that could be one way of doing it. You could add wraps of course to bring the resistance up but be aware that it will take longer for your coil to get hot too should you go that route.
