I don't know...those BBQ chicken burritos sound good, too. I love chopped liver, and liver pate, but fried chicken livers aren't a favorite. My mother and DH on the other hand, love them.
I haven't tried brains yet, but so far, I haven't met an offal I didn't like. I eat my steak rare too. ooh Jer has to be squirming
I can't wait to try your squash recipe. We'd be doing it tonight if DH wasn't sharing the cooking. He does awesome fried squash, and I'm not volunteering to do more...frying the livers is more than enough work/danger for one meal :lol:
BTW, have you tried doing corn on the cob in the microwave?

He had no clue and ate more when he got home ...
I just woke them both up. So I'll have to do dinner soon.
Yeah, that was a possibility. Is there any other household activity that takes place near the freezer that could become impossible to do as a result of the science experiment gone wrong?

It often takes Lori a little longer.
:laugh::cry::lol:bite me.:D

Yet another similarity.....exactly the same as you, except for bowling. I do that left handed, and as badly as I golf. I also use right-handed scissors in my right hand. My left doesn't know what to do even with left handed scissors. Do you curl your arm to write? I don't. I think I figured out early that the teachers didn't notice it as much if I held my hand the same as the others (that was back in the day when they still tried to make you switch).
Right handed scissors...LOL...didn't even think about that, but cannot use left handed ones. I do crochet left handed, which was the biggest pain in the rear when I was learning because my mom was right handed, and I basically had to figure it out myself. I've tried knitting, but I think that's going to have to be a right handed thing, because the left handed doesn't feel right.:laugh:

Yes but what hand are they in when you run? :D
:lol::lol::lol:

I'll take that as a compliment :laugh:
:lol::lol::lol:

Well, let's see if tonight's dinner causes any controversy. Slaw, fried yellow squash, sliced tomatoes (all homegrown veggies from the local guy's stand), and fried chicken livers.
YUM!!!

Bacon Ranch Chicken Skewers, (and some skewers with zucchini, onion, mushrooms, green peppers), corn on the cob, and leftover squash casserole from the other night.
YUM!!!

BBQ chicken burritos
YUM!!!!

...have you tried doing corn on the cob in the microwave?
Brains, um...no, not on purpose anyway. Corn on the cob I've heard is very good, shuck still on was the method I'd heard.
King Crab legs....:shock::shock:....yes, in the microwave. Alton Brown's method. I'd have to go find it, but it really was as good or better than boiling. WAY less clean up too!! WAY LESS.

Poor Classy it's a thankless job
Amen to that.

If it's in the garage, just OPEN it. Say, well it NEEDS to air out.:D

Well I didn't even need to apologize. I'm figuring out that ... might not only be a pause in someone's posts.
nope, you're good. Man or woman, we've all got that t'shirt.:laugh:

Yes, on the in the husk & Alton Brown method for crab. It's easy to forget the scissors thing. But do you curl your arm when you write?

Well, for Dale's benefit, and to avoid the banhammer. It's called etikat, or etiquette, or something like that, I believe.

eatacat?

Noooooo!! Don' hurt a kitty!

:lol:

(in all fairness, I admit that my mind went 2 places with "eatacat". I shall refrain from further discourse on the 2nd place)

Well, there you have it. It's going to take stones, and for you LARGE stones, since I know how much you love that boy, but I think a kitchen boycott is in order.

I think that I should take my van and go visits daughter for a week...
How would he get to work?? Or track/band? I know they can feed themselves.
DH had a diner in Macon and ds has been taught by me

I'm with Charm! Boycott GG! Go grab you something to eat! Sit in your favorite chair & enjoy yourself & when they ask 'what's for dinner' just look at them & say....I dunno!!! And give the same answers to all of their questions! Tell them you're on a 'man'cation! And they get to fend for themselves!

oooh.......so it's YOUR van. That would do it, but it might be a case of using a sledgehammer when I fly swatter could do the trick. Just because they CAN cook doesn't mean they LIKE to. Or have enough sense to make sure there's stuff in the fridge & pantry when they are hungry. Or wait, what about your phone?
