Just kinda lurking today everyone, didn't sleep well last night and still really tired. Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone and send my  to you all. It's funny, even when I don't feel like talking too much I still love to read everything from you all. I love keeping up with everyone and just hanging out here.

Dave, you and your girlfriend are absolutely precious (((hugs))) I could just squeeze y'all to pieces. :D

Dale, try to have a good time at the party today darlin, sometimes I hate having to go to things I don't really wanna go to but, I find that if I try to make the best of it then it's not so bad. Love ya sweet sis!

Chim, have a wonderful day at work sweetpea! Love ya muches!

Charm, you have been missed! You shouldn't stay away for so long, I know, I did and it made everyone worry about me bless their hearts! (((hugs)))

Lisa, I sure do hope that your baby gets better, she's a beautiful girl!

Lori, I hope you have a wonderful weekend off and get lots done but don't forget to play a little too. That's what weekends are for after all, resting and playing.

Elf, if I get down on the floor, there better be someone to help me get up lol. I seem to have a hard time getting up since I hurt my hip at my daughters house.

GG  you need a break darlin, some time on your own to just chillax! You are always running someone somewhere or doing something for someone! Take a break girl, run away for the day and enjoy some time for yourself.

I think about all of you all the time even when I'm not posting, I always read everything and stay caught up with my Lurkers. Love you all so very much!!

Tommy is my ex-husband and current roommate. Long story short, I was given some news, went a little cuckoo, divorced Tommy, sold everything, quit my job, and moved to a tropical island. Got into a bad situation on said tropical island, finally figured out how I could get away, came back to the USA, and started over. I decided to forego another home outside of the city and stick to a well populated area, Tommy wanted to get closer to work as well, so we now share an apartment in the middle of the student population. He has a GF that he visits 3 hrs away every other weekend, he cleans the apartment once every 2 weeks, and I cook and do laundry. We get along well, always have, so we benefit by sharing expenses while living our own lives. I don't have to worry that he's not taking care of himself and he has the best of both worlds, a GF and an ex-wife that still cooks and does his laundry for him LOL
    Goodness, LOL, very interesting story:)
Thanks for clarifying before I stuck my foot in my mouth!

HaHa! No problem... it's an unusual situation and I remember when I heard of others that were similar and thought 'what the heck?!?!?!' But it's okay =] I am in a good place and moving forward =]

BTW - I decided to make a potato and spinach lasagna veggie casserole. Tommy is big on potatoes, so it'll be great with brisket. My 'chores' are almost over this weekend, so I am pleased with myself... I need to go through my closet, but it might not get done this weekend... I am just not in the mood to go through clothes right now :/

I am watching another episode of hoarders and this lady is saving empty pet food bags :/ I save some jars to hold other items since I like to buy spices in bulk, I save grocery bags to carry things on the run, but greasy, stinky pet food bags? Man, I feel good about myself when I recycle jars now LOL

No cooking chores today. They have to eat the food In The freezer first. Then I have to go to the store and get food to cook :)

Angel you do way more than I do. Slow down.

Good luck with the freezer Charm.

I finally got up and took some melatonin and that helped. I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep:
I thought you were supposed to take that melatonin on a regular basis for it to work?

Hmm I do NOT like red hots and am not about to try it as a vape.
Black pepper is usually too hot for me. But I do like jalepenos with my fried chicken :)

I've tried red hot cinnamon juice, it's actually pretty good with a shot of menthol, go figure. However, I got cinnamon oil in my eye as a teenager (ever make cinnamon toothpicks?). It burned so bad, I can't help but wonder if it's a good idea to inhale.

Golly yes! I remember those! And mint too:)
School was full of them for a while.
Who knows about inhaling it, seems like some folks will try anything; I mean ... really, Bacon???

I don't think I'd buy a bottle, but if I ever get the chance, I will definitely try Bacon lol!

    Good afternoon all.
FIL was admitted back to ICU this morning, filling up again. We knew he was. They may drain some fluid from around his lungs yet today, or tonight, but we haven't heard anymore from MIL.

So about 2:30 this afternoon, Rita gets up from her pillow, takes two steps and yelps. Back problems again. So her vet is out of town, the Sat. replacement for him (his ex wife) wouldn't stay over so I could get there. Forty minute drive from here, they close at 3 on Saturdays. Thank God Pet Smart has vets, and longer Sat. hours. I was able to get her in there for a steroid shot. Hopefully it will help. She's already lost some hind leg control, but has gone #1 and #2 just now, so all still functions. I pray the shot will take care of the swelling. She's been doing so very well. She hasn't had to have a shot since March, and the episode in March wasn't bad for her at all. I just now got back from the vet, and just wanted to check back in with y'all.

Going to get dinner on the go now, I'll be back later. Going to couch it with Rita after dinner and my bath.
