Lmbo! I only really use my cartotanks when I'm out & about now. There was once a time when I was obsessed & used nothing else. I'd have like 10 going at once. Since I've started dripping & using rebuildables I've gotten rid of some & rarely have to punch or prime them anymore. I keep punching the holes too low. I finally got it right lol!
I'm outta practice as they say.

Hiya Elf! We're just trying to fig out where everyone is. How are you?
I'm fine. I had kind of a lazy day. I rebuilt a couple of coils and rewicked some heads. I'm getting ohm readings of 2.2 to 2.8, but one came out at .5. I had to tinker with it a bit, but it finally read 2.7. I use 32 Kanthal and make 6 wraps around a machine screw. I don't understand why it started out so low; after I removed the metal pin and put it back in (no other changes), it came up to the 2.7.

A lazy day is good my dear! We all need one every now & then. Wow! The lowest I've wrapped was .9 I think. I'm hoping I feel up to tinkering on Thursday when I finally get another day off. I only had enough energy to tinker with these danged cartos tonite.

Elf, I just started using the machine screw. I'm trying to do 6 wraps or less, and mine are all over the place. I had one the other night that said it was 4.2 ohm. 
I think it read something different all three times I checked it... Needless to say, it went into the RE-DO pile.
It has been quiet in here tonight...
I'll be back (and forth) going to play a game on my computer.
