Welcome home Chim!
I don't need to ask how your day was I see
There is always those few you hate to leave isn't there ...

Hey Dale!
Yes! Granted we're friends & talk outside of work, it'll still be weird not working with them anymore.
It's amazing how close you get to those few. It always made my day to work with them.

Hello Angel +Chim.

Yeah I've had that happen before as well. Sad but it does usually happen.

Jerry it's easier for me since I didn't work for that store & none of the team members worked for me. I was basically my own boss there. But I imagine ill have a few more FB friends now. That's one things I didn't do with any of the people I worked with there.

Good evening, Lurkers. I never mixed work and friendship. It was probably wrong, but it was the way that I was raised.

Hi Tvan, Dale and Chim. :)

Hey Jerry ... how you doing this evening?
I doubt that there is really a right or wrong with the friendship thing ...
Like I say, different strokes for different folks ;)

Chim, when I look back on it, I was wrong, at least partially wrong. The one thing that I did right, was that I refused to have affairs with the married women who I worked with. Two of them wanted to have an affair with me (at different times, not together. lol) Having been raised a good Catholic, I wouldn't do it.

No mam! I've never tied it in with my phone & I'm rarely on there but it's just a way for me to keep up with friends who now live far away. I really only look when they tell me they've posted pics of the kids or something.

Thanks Lori! But we are only a very small piece of the size and scope of the operation. Those involved are many and come from all walks of life. All coming together trying to right a wrong. One household can make a difference.
Oh no doubt, it takes everyone.

Breakfast in a bag my wife buys from Aldi's. It has potatoes, ham or sausage, peppers etc. Toss it in a skillet heat it up, add eggs. I Dr it up with adding extra meat and corn. It's really good and easy to make.
I think I've seen those, or something similar that could be turned into that. That would be quick and easy!

To an extent, I would agree with that, but I've worked at the same place for over 12 years. There is very little turnover, and honestly, some are like family. We sometimes bicker like family , but we do all care for each other. I was raised the same way you were regarding that, but it can work with the right group of people.
(Well then, I just looked and you were a wee bit more specific. ;)....yes, I'm on the same page with you.

Chim, you can always go back and harass them while they're working...:D

Dale, look up those old buddies, they'd probably be thrilled to see you again.

I've gotten to be the same way ... a lot of it come's to my e-mail so I just respond to what I want to ;)
Of course there's my kid's & some family member's I keep up with that way too ... I guess you could say
I'm kind of hard to get a hold of :D
