Looks like a Haze fest in here
Heavens no we're not mad at you Haze.

So, I just took Rita out, and I spoke too soon. The Fall Festival evening activities seem to be in the park across the street, to the side of our house. Convenient if you're belly up to the beer wagon, um.....kind of a bummer if you're not over enjoying the festivities. Well prob get to hear the band playing til midnight I'm sure. Ah well, at least they don't have the annual Hootenanny anymore. They used to close off the street where we live for it. Got to be too rowdy I hear, but it was an annual HUGE three day party for many years. It used to be fun to go do that stuff, but I'm just kind of over that.

I am feeling a lot better. Barely any remnants left of my headache. Wow, it was a whopper this time.

DH did an excellent job with dinner. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting....Betty Crocker variety.

Now I'm headed to the couch to watch some tv and snuggle with the dog.

I love Carrot cake, but this one isn't anything special. The cream cheese frosting is really good, but the cake doesn't have much flavor. It's still good, I mean it IS cake after all
