I'll bet it's beautiful!

Can you make sparks fly with it? :D

Maybe Dale can give you lessons.

No sparks, it is exquisite though. I was fortunate enough to get it on ebay for $6, it cost me more than that to have it shipped! It is very heavy! I do love my rocks... I'm a bit different in a lot of ways. Oh well, keeps from boring people...

Chamomile...

    Wow!!! $6! :) What a steal. :D

I've known lots of rock collectors. There are many special kinds. I have a small collection myself (very small). One of my favorites, though I don't have any, is Lapis Lazuli. At least, I don't think I have any.

Do you think that along with cats and dogs, they should spay and neuter the dust bunnies? :sneaky:

I live in the county, we don't spay or neuter anything except steers, although; I have threatened more than once to gather all the dust bunnies and have them done... Problem is I can't seem to get them all penned and when I call LAT to haul them, they just laugh and hang up on me... Maybe I should find a trucking company that doesn't know me????

You have to train the dust bunnies to come when you call first. Problem is, after you have them spayed and neutered, they'll never come when you call again. :(

It was from an estate and they guessed it was a glass orb... when I received it and took it to the rock shop he was floored! I spent several years watching one in Manitou that was $600 and he told me I could have it for $450 a few times. I'm guessing so I would quit drooling on it every time I saw it... My favorites are onyx, geodes and fluorite but I love them all. My granddaughters are like me and love rocks. Making it across the driveway is difficult because we have to stop and look at all the "pretty" rocks... my husband says it's very easy to make us happy though! I guess everything has an up side!

It took a while to learn to like it but as it is a favorite of Bruce's I make it fairly often. He drinks my blueberry though I doubt it is a favorite of his. Better than Grace's apple... but we have that if she is picking the tea for a party... :(

    OMG. I forgot about geodes.

So glad you have that crystal ball from the estate. It's probably better than the one from Manitou that was $600, and if not, and 1/100th of the cost, who cares. Right?

I like to collect weird coins

    Weird, like Foreign?

Not to worry, Dearest. I can do double duty. And if it gets busy over there, I'll have to leave here for a bit.

    Okey dokey :)

Yeah, the first tip I ever got was when I worked at the Exxon station ... they thought I was mexican cause I was so dark skinned back then! If they could only see me now

I also really like a stone called gaspite from Australia. It has a strange soft texture and brings about a feeling of calmness. It is green.

That's the kind of "weird" stuff I like, yeah! :)

I'll have to see if I can find them and send one. They have very little value and I brought a huge bunch of them! I nearly had heart failure every time I looked at a price tag over there until I remembered the rate of exchange... a blouse would be a 7 digit number and be less than $10.
