Good morning to all!! Still trying to get "human" working on my first cup of coffee.

Dale, 4 a.m. wow!! But if you managed the breakfast room for a hotel, you prob still wake up super early. I find it hard to sleep in on the weekends,...well, hard to stay asleep many nights period.

Robin - I hear ya - It's all good until someone mentions - Hot Da#%.....took me 2 times to learn that shots are not my friend.

So it's already 75 degrees here with 84% humidity, and we're headed for near 90.....hmmmm, feels like FL weather to me!

I see there was only 1 winner in the Mega Lottery last night, from FL. (we never play...LOL) I'm tempted when it get that high though.

Yes, I was getting up at 3:30 a.m. everyday for the hotel job - but that was pretty much normal for me since I've been through the change. After working all those years at the butcher shop I thought the hotel would be fun ; my mistake!

I never did "shots" but when I did drink my preference was stuff like Rum, Whiskey, Amaretto, heh heh. Although I did love a good Tom Collins

Thank (insert deity here) we are up high. We have a nice new lake in the front yard today. And a pool party to go to!! We should be getting this most of the week. Grrr

I just pulled out some chicken breasts. I'm going to have hubby grill & BBQ them tonight!! Pulled chicken, since I didn't defrost my pk shoulder. Haven't decided what sides, but y'all are welcome to come!!! Just bring your lawn chairs in case we end up with a crowd.

I'll put on some JB and I think that's the perfect way to wind down on a Sunday evening!!

Ok, so I've been vaping MBV Cinnamon Roll & Sticky Bun for the last 2 weeks, I just have to say (again), THAT STUFF IS JUST SINFULLY GOOD YUMMINESS!!!

Morning/afternoon!! Geeze, my computer went on the blink Friday. I work a crazy day at a vape shop on Saturdays and too tired to do the puter when I get home. We average 15,000.00 in retail vape sales on a Saturday. Can you imagine how busy that is?? I got it up and running this morning and holy cow!! This thread moves fast!! I won't have the time to play catch up, but did mange to skim through a few posts. I need a nap. I'm going bowling tonight. Haven't bowled in years. Should be fun.

I'm afraid that would've been ONE BLEEDING DOCTOR after 5 days of labor!!

I was 18 and didn't know I could pitch a fit yet. I was just so glad to have it over and that my beautiful baby was fine and in my arms. And I could finally sleep again. I did get 8 hours on the third day of it. The doctor decided I had to have some sleep so she gave me a shot of demerol and sent me straight home to bed. Ha. Like I could have done anything else. I made it out of her office and to the elevator before breaking into an extreme case of the giggles. My husband had to haul me all the way through the medical building and parking lot, then up the flight of stair to our apartment. I had to have looked like a very drunk girl and couldn't stop giggling. That's not a good look for a very pregnant woman. lol Once I hit the pillow though, I was out for exactly 8 hours and was woken up by contractions.

Yeah daleron.. wouldn't it have been nice if they would have figured out we needed c-sections looong before all that?

I worked in a cafe for a bit (cook/waitress/bussed tables/cashier and dishwasher... while the owner watched. lol) I can't imagine doing the job you did!!! Or the hours!

I never did shots either. I only got 'drunk' a few times and never really had a hangover. Had someone put something in my drink once and I became ubber careful after that.

Wow cat! It sounds like a fun place to work but that's a crazy amount of stuff to move in a day... and people to help. Yikes!

I am the toll collector at a st beach park- three days a week...
Just something fun to do
(I am going to be sore..I can feel it !)
Need to go back to work to rest up !

Hamburgers and beans for dinner...nothing to difficult tonight.
( and Klondike bars for dessert...yum!)
