    Steak sounds so good! I have no idea what to make. Maybe it'll just be a blackeyed peas and mustard greens with bread sort of night. (Sounds incredibly pitiful next to your steak. :laugh:)

    Think I'll have LO Questadillllllaalal whatever they are that I had today with my friend :)

    Well, I think it ALL sounds really good, and I can't remember the last time we had steaks.
    Hubby had a crazy week this past week, so I picked up steak and guy flowers.

    Awwwwwwwwwwww, aren't you the sweetheart!:wub:

    Hi Dale. The last time my oil was changed by a mechanic. He put the @##$% oil pan bolt on so tight, that I broke a wrench, trying to remove it and it still wouldn't budge. So next week the Mustang goes back to the mechanic for an oil change and an admonishment not to put the #$%^& bolt on so @##$% tight

    :ohmy: !!!!!!!!! LOL's!!! No really, I'm sorry to hear that, yes I would definitely hope the same guy had to work on it again!!!:laugh:

    Yup, that's me...:lol::lol:
    Honestly, we rarely eat out at nice restaurants, cuz hubby is an awesome cook.
    When we have steaks, we get them from a family owned meat market/butcher that's about a half hour from us. Their meat is TOP NOTCH, not prime, but excellent none the less.

    We might get them every 6 weeks or so apart. When we do, we generally get bacon wrapped fillets, and I can get two for $18.00 & some change, and by the way, that includes the bacon wrap. At the local big name grocery store chain, they're $25 a piece and no where the size. Needless to say, I do not buy there.:laugh:

    This time, I also picked up two beautiful baking potatoes, so my total was $20.24. The two steak combined weighed almost a pound and a half.

    I never eat all of mine, and hubby didn't eat all of his on purpose, so we have leftovers. So, from those, we will either have steak quesadillas, or steak Caesar salads the next day. We always get two meals out of them, and considering that he an I actually spent $12 bucks at a Taco Bell once, I don't think it's too bad at all.:D

    And, not sure if you know, but "guy flowers" = beer.....:lol::lol::lol:

    They were yum.:laugh:

    :oops: :laugh: Nope! I did not know "guy flowers"= beer! :laugh:
    Seriously tho', that all sounds delic & we tend to do the same type thing, getting two meals (at least) out of one so it all tends to even out.:) As for taco bell, if you don't spend at least 12 bucks you're not gonna get much! LOL!
