LOL...he was messing around with his new phone and was using IT as a remote...he said he could also configure it to work for my tv while he was in the basement...he's like ISN'T THAT COOL......

I just went and looked. I don't know. I know it's not an iPhone or an HTC. So maybe the Galaxy whatever, or the Samsung.
He's out of town, but I'll find out and let you know. I think it's an app., not so much the phone.

Oh, so maybe an android device ... I like that even better. I've been waiting for something to come out to really challenge the iPhone, not that I'm against Apple, I just think additional viable alternatives might bring prices down a bit.

Great minds think alike, I'm this close to ordering DIY supplies, just trying to figure out the flavor requirements to get what I really like (still sorta mystery flavor) but really really good and expensive

Ah, the Nexus, okay! Yes, I have heard of it but I haven't done any research into it so far. I'm having a hard time coming to grips with paying 600$ + on a phone ... Years ago I used to do remote field tech support and I got to the point where I hated talking on the phone. Obviously you can do so much more with them now but I still have this aversion to them. I admit, I am not normal.

Don't feel bad, he had to PRY my flip phone out of my hand. We get a good deal on phones through where we work, or I'd have never gotten it....he's the techno gadget ho bag....I reject technology as long as I can.....I appreciate technology, but despise our throw away society.
