They bite HARD too!!! I had one trying to eat my clothing once and it kept getting skin......Been there, done that. Goats are great...and funny. But if your fence won't hold water, it won't hold a goat. They ate every bit of landscaping we had, and played "King of the Mountain" on my car. Just so ya know....
I could not even imagine being in the army or any branch for that matter! Nothing against my country or serving my country, but I'd have never survived basic training...LOL....I'd have been Private Benjamin II.
We figure my dad lied too. VA has his DOB as 1926. Mom said it was 1927. I need to go actually look on his BC. But just haven't done that. VA said it doesn't matter, that the biggest majority of them lied about their age...My dad was in the Navy, he went in at age sixteen ... lied of course!

You know, I guess I've never heard how your situation came about. I saw you write that you were able to hear when you were born, but I don't know when you lost your hearing or the circumstances. If it's something you don't talk about, or wish to talk about, I completely understand.I think that probably was pretty common back then
I thought I would enjoy joining back at the end of HS but they don't take people with hearing prob's; at least they didn't then
Nope, nada. No kids, just Rita. My dads still at the hospital, I think my brother is going today, I went yesterday. It's an hour each way for me to go. We do need to call DH's dad though. His parents live about 10 hours from us in MI.
