Sorry, I miss you guys too but lately I'm only on for 5 minutes or so at a time here and there. Work and life have been pretty hectic lately. The next few months are going to be a whirlwind I'm afraid, lots of travel and maybe some life changes but I will stop by when I can.

And with that I have to go. Hope you all have a wonderful night! :)

hi/bye aaron (in truth he is trying to avoid me. snort )

So, from now on I will call you Sister Daune.

LOL! Chimney, Chellemmm, Chip, Sister Daune! Pick one for goodness sakes!

I lost my harem.

    Nah, you didn't Jer :)

I also love Stephen King, I grew up reading him and Koontz pretty much exclusively. Not sure how I feel about the Dark Tower movie/tv show thing yet if it is even going to happen at this point. I love the way he wove that story through so many of his other books.

I was also very impressed with 11/22/63 and how it called back a lot of his earlier books that I love like IT

Oh and Hi everyone, just a quick run by and saw Stephen King mentioned so I had to comment.

    Love Koontz too :)

Oh, Hi Luv, bye Luv :)

Yup, I was a freshman in High School. The assistant principal came on the intercom and told everyone to go to their homerooms. He didn't say why. When we got to our homeroom, they played the radio over the intercom "the president has been shot". Our buses came and we quietly boarded them. We were quiet, the entire ride home. When I got home, my mother was crying and the tv was on. They announced that President Kennedy was dead. He was one of us, a Catholic and a New Englander, everyone was stunned.

I wasn't born yet but my mom has talked about it. Lots of tears that day from what I've heard throughout my life.

I will however never forget Sept. 11, where I was, what I was doing...the tears that day rolling down my face as I stood there in the break room at work. Yeah...some things in life you will never forget but remembering hurts so much.

My DH had just retired from the navy, only 3 weeks prior, he was a mechanic for the fighter planes. He was always stationed on those jumbo carriers. I was terrified that they were going to recall him as they had said that they were going to start recalling the armed forces.
