getting a little concerned - dj should have been out of recovery by late afternoon yesterday and i sort of expected to see him about online by now. naturally, that depends on painkiller dosage and the state of wifi in his room

maybe best to give it another day - dj was told to expect a 3-night stay in the hospital. very possible that he's being kept well-sedated for the first day or two.

I dropped him a message too but didnt hear back ,but glad he is doing good. Pain can be managed.
Wait till rehab starts then he will be in pain I bet

I am so relieved!

I don't recall exactly what he's having done - but i had a spinal discectomy/fusion (fixed my neck), and was out of it for a day or two, but very short term. After recovering from surgery it was IMMEDIATE resolution of the pain that caused me to get it fixed, and I've been good ever since - over 10 years ago. I hope DJ has results as good as mine were.
