Whew. Sorry I haven't been posting much the last few days as I have been working hard to catch up the rest of my backlog. Getting really close, another weekend or two. Plus knocking out a few new driptip orders too.

A little bit of good news. I am still learning my CNC setup and got really close last night to a new part which will make a lot of peko owners happy. With the generous help of Mr. Gdeal himself, he drew out the cad file for me on a idea I had, which is to make a solid copper terminal to run from the 510 to the fire button screw. So no more having to pound out solid copper wire or use those two little terminals bolted together. Anyway, I was able to scribe the part into the copper with the mill, but still learning the CAM portion of the setup which is telling the cnc program how to move the cutting tool and how deep to plunge for the cut. So need to tweak the depth a little next chance I have a few spare moments. Then hopefully all new Pekos I make will have this part and it maybe something I can offer for sale, depending on cost of materials and machine time to make. We will see. But I was excited to see the machine finally operate automatically and not try to tear itself apart....LoL. Trust me, learning from scratch and building all of it DIY is a time consuming project. But getting there. I see loads of possibilities once this become second hand.

Lastly and part of the reason I am still working so hard to get stuff out. I have now seen two new surgeons and both are telling me my last fusion surgery didn't take and the temp cage structure which holds things in place while the bone fusion occurs is coming loose (and probably why I am in constant pain). This most likely means another major surgery in the very, very near future. I see a specialist this coming Thursday who deals with failed fusions and his will be the final word. One of the other surgeons also stated the joint below my existing fusion is in very bad shape and needs fusing too. So possibly looking at a double fusion really soon and they tell me dealing with failed ones, they have to work from the front or side and not through the back.....freakn ouch. Good chance I won't be able to sit at the lathe or any of my work stations for a bit after this. It's not positive, but figured I would give folks a heads up. If you have a desire to get something soon, might be a good idea to get on my todo list now so I might can get it done before surgery, as I have no idea how long after I will be out of commision.

Damn DJ, Take care of that back first. I was a few weeks away form contacting you about a couple of tips, but they can certainly wait. Health first, the wood will be waiting for you when you are able. Until then, best of luck with the surgery and may you have an easy recovery.

Jasen, hope they get your back sorted out quickly my brother.

I've had back issues, which fortunately haven't (yet) required surgery, and when your back is hurting pretty much everything hurts. Take it easy on your body, you only get one.

Thoughts and prayers goin out to ya.

Thanks everyone. But honestly i prefer to stay busy as long as i can. Plus it keeps my mind off the inevitable. So please don't hold off because of it. Sitting around thinking too much is worse for me as I'm the type who constantly has to keep his hands busy. So i plan to work up until I can't and start back ASAP after. My last surgery i ran a coop two days later....lol...which in hindsight probably wasn't the smartest thing, but it worked out.

Just kick back for awhile and have Tibs bring some ya some coffee, that'll take your mind off it for a bit ;)

that coffee business frayed my nerves so badly @Steamer861 had to step into the breach - he's been fetching some admirable stuff! :D

That explains this

Hope your nerves have calmed :)
