Man Jasen, I'm sorry that sounds so rough, I hate being stuck in the house and in pain, So I really feel for ya.
Nothing but well wishes for your speedy recovery.
If it were me I might be posting I'm might disappear into the recliner for a few days...
No wrong topic for this awesome forum, I know you have to be feeling pretty validated and optimistic for the renewed senses in you legs and other lower regions...good stuff.
Whatever you do, don't feel obligated to post,...lurking can be a fine path to recovery:)

I dunno you J, but I am very sorry to hear of your pain, and wish you the very best and hope the pain subsides very very soon. Any vendor who is awesome enough to allow the coffee crowd to grace his forum is a friend of mine. May just have to stick around ;)

Get well soon, brother :nun:

Jasen, certainly hope you can find some pain relief!! Sounds like you may be already seeing some positive things especially in the lower extremities ;) As far as the eating thing have you tried a milkshake?? Lots of nutrition especially if you add a little protein powder to it. Just a thought:)

DJ,at least you feel like something got accomplished with this surgery, theres nothing worse than feeling crapier after all you went through before. keep your head up and we will be here to pull you along in the wagon until you get back on your feet. wishing you a speedy recovery so you can enjoy the holiday season approaching. I could stand to loose some weight too, maybe I should get myself straightened up too? actually after the new year I am going to have to do the 50k mile checkup. rest easyand use voice to text on phone, makes chatting better.

Drunk_J, it takes a strong individual to enter into a several hour knife fight, unarmed, under the influence of drugs and still come out alive.
I predict the worst is behind you and once the site trauma subsides you will be on the road to a tremendous recovery.
If not, you can borrow my wand!

Mmm, nothing like some morning coffee. Feeling better today! Hope this trend continues. I remember from last time, things transitioned pretty fast for me, provided you use some will power, get up and move around. Doing nothing makes the pain last longer. So been working really hard to get myself towards that pain free life I so much want. Been a great help having so much encouragement, willing me to do so!
