I got my EE around Tuesday and I'm so impressed with this device. It performs well and lasts all day, the craftmanship is really great and a welcome surprise. Are these made state-side? They seem to have a quality not found with most of the Chinese PV items. It won't be long before I order another one.

(Shoving my friend Davo aside): No, the EEs are flat and sealed at the "non-business" end! Really beautiful pieces of engineering.

I notice virtually no drop-off in performance until the little blue button starts frantically flashing "CHARGE ME!"

Yep, No LED on the end, just on the "business" (on/off) button when you push it. And yes EleanorR I have noticed that too. It won't give up any performance until it's totally gone. It must be regulated in such a manner to keep the voltage steady until it can no longer deliver any current.

I still would like to know where the little jewel is made.
