Ruuku,

I have discover that I am a crazy vaper. I will vape all day long and have always 3 batteries charging at the same time, so that way I will not run out of power. But I do vap most of the time just G/distilled water solution (no flavor), and from time to time I will change to High Nic cart.

I am using the M201 to go out of home/office since it last longer than the other model I got (I think). I do not care about looking as I have a pen in my mouth! 100% actitud!

I am also carring the M401 or M402 since I am promoting them with friends and family, since those are more acepted by "to be vapers".

I think vaping is on my blood since my familly came originally from Levanon and I like too much the arguile pipe (That arabic water pipe, I do not know what is it name in english). As a matter of fact I am thinking in making one electric arguile! Conected to the wall with a lot of e.juice (no nic9 and a big big atomizer!

Best

I got suckered in to buying SmokingEverywhere 2.0... One for myself, and one for my mother. This one is the most prevalent in the US media. I was going to hold off a month and wish I had... but they are currently offering $60 of the original price of $145 on their website, so i jumped to it! It was a few hours later I discovered this website.

Yesterday, I ordered for myself an M401 from a US reseller mentioned in the beginning of this thread. I also ordered the sample pack of e-liquid from Johnson Creek after learning from these forums about topping off and refilling to save money.

After reading this entire thread I am very excited about the M401 and extremely disappointed about spending money on the smokingeverywhere unit. (Though I do not have either in my hands as of yet) I wish I had discovered these forums before making the first purchase.

These forums are an invaluable resource and i am looking forward to kicking my 20 year analog habit, and helping my mother kick her 40 year one. Only thing is, once i tell her all the new things I have learned since yesterday, she will be mad at me for getting the inferior smokingeverywhere product (and 8 refill packs! but they were buy one get one free).. I am thinking SmokingEverywhere is offering these sales because they are losing customers to better and cheaper products out there and want to rope people in. I won't be roped in and will not buy anything else from them, but i will use their e-cig as a backup until it dies.

Anyway! I am just glad I found this site and all the great info and videos out there. And this thread is the best, hands down!

Ohhh....damn Deacon your making me regret not ordering liquid on my last order :). I'm a coffee junkie (drinking my regular iced quad expresso right now. I've been searching for the "perfect" coffee flavor... Like i said before E-Smokey treats coffee was excellent when I first ordered, but i just got an order this week, and the stuff has NO FLAVOR! What's more disappointing is the fact that it seems like liquids come in "batches", some might be good, some might be bad. I HATE the fact that buying liquid may be a gamble. I don't mind consistently bad... I can just avoid it all together.
Anyway, is the coffee flavor a "pure" one? I like coffee but I don't want to vape coffee and cream or a crappichino (frappichino...i used to work at Starbucks...I hate those things).

Purr2Freya: sorry about the bad news, My first ecig was a cheapo eHealth unit... It was cheap (29.95) but the quality was seriously lacking. It sparked my interest in vaping though, and i found this forum with all of these lovely people. I'm pretty sure that you'll love the 401.

Fedor: Can you think of any reason why the M201 hasn't gained in popularity? I'm honestly surprised it hasn't caught on with US suppliers. it seems to have all of the benefits of the 801 (loads of vapor, huge capacity, easy draw) with out the setbacks (battery life), yet is seems the only way to get one is directly through Smoore. I find this kind of puzzling.

CCure: Glad every thing worked out (201)... Hopefully you can get your family and friends off Analogs (or at least cut down). Its much easier to "convert" people in the US because the price of cigarettes is so high, and while we don't know if vaping is completely safe, I feel so much better than i did 2 weeks ago...

I don't find it puzzling at all. For newer members, let me present you with some interesting observations.

For a while, it was the DSE series (mainly 901 and 801) dominating sales as most suppliers carry these models. They still do. I vaguely recall that when i joined the forum, only Litecig was carrying the M401. There might be others, but it was not highlighted much on the forums. Litecig was carrying this for quite a while but the M401 never really created any kind of buzz like now.

As recent as a few months back, the M401 started to receive a lot of limelight (mainly by intellicig and possibly a little bit by myself). Customers started to love this model and it was even hailed as the 901 killer by some. More and more users were giving good reviews. Suppliers took notice and now, almost everyone is carrying at least the M401.

I see the same thing with the M201. The only difference is that it looks exactly like a DSE801 on the outside but none of the parts are compatible with DSE801 except for cartridges. I believe the main reasons are:

1) Parts not compatible with other penstyles
2) Does not look any more appealing than a regular penstyle (unlike the M401/402 that looks really good)
3) No publicity given and not enough rave reviews to get the attention of suppliers.
4) Suppliers are worried that carrying this product will canibalise the sales of their own existing penstyles.
5) Switching cost to the M201 from regular penstyles are higher due to compatibility.
6) No USB passthroughs and i am not sure if the regular USB passthroughs will work with M201. Anyone wants to send me a USB passthrough for me to test?
7) Understandably, the wholesale cost of M201s might be higher as they are not as mass produced as other penstyles such as DSE801. This is just my guess.

My 2 cents...

I have non smokers hooked on it and their ordering their own M-401

Getting non smokers hooked on this might not be a good idea. This might speak volumes about the product but will work against our cause.

Its best to not publicise this as the anti vapers will have lots to criticise and we'll take 10 steps backwards. Just my thoughs.

I have to agree. the PV is a tool that many of us use to aide us in quitting a habit/addiction that plagues us... it's not a novelty toy.

RuyanDirect now has their M-series section up! And holy cow are their prices good!!!!

They don't offer fixed shipping. If you compare after the shipping price, its more or less the same. If you order a larger quantity, its likely that you'll still find absolutely ecigs cheaper. They also only have 1 color.

I'd order from them for a change of color but i'm too attached to absolutelyecigs and their top notch service.

Besides, i'd prefer to order from the manufacturer as i'm sure to always get the latest stuff.

Speaking of absolutelyecigs, what have you found to be the average time it takes to get your package from the day you received your shipping confirmation?

Just wondering cause i order my first e-cig from them on Thursday last week, got the shipping confirmation on Monday and the tracking info says its still in Shanghai... So I just wanted to see if you could throw me a rough estimate on its arrival, I'm in California if that helps.....

thanks in advanced

Well, looks like you fell in the second half of their backlog (not as lucky as Deacon240 was) . They did announce on the website that they will ship all backlogs by Monday (14th) as they only had 3 working days last week.

It usually takes 7 days but if i were to make a guess, it'll probably arrive within this week, assuming customs are not sleeping on the job.

You're gonna love your first ecig. This is an excellent supplier to buy from.

I'm hoping this applies to me as well :). I ordered a 402 as my first under your glowing recommendation on the first post, waiting as patiently as i can for it to arrive :D.

I should have said rarely smokers. They like nicotine on occasion, just dont like smoking tobacco mainly because of the smoke/taste/smell/how their lungs feel the next day. A pack of cigarettes lasts the people who want a PV now over a week.

Honestly the more I smoke the coffee flavor, the more I wish it was a bit stronger in flavor, has one hell of a throat hit though. I was dipping in the coffee and vanilla last night... enjoyed the hell out of that one

I think that's the appeal to me...I seem to always order in small quantities because I place orders as I get spare cash. If I were to order 4 atomizers (my orders are typically something like this) it is 20 dollars cheaper from RD. I can definitely see how AEC would be better if it were a larger order though.

I ordered my 401/402 kits on the 7th and got them the 13th in Chicago so I feel 7-10 days is going to be about average.

Fedor has found the winners in E-cigs with AbsolutelyeCigs.com....their CS and products are tops.

Why go through an American site when you can get them from the manufacturer directly along with great service and shipping rates?

Has anyone found a passthru yet for the penstyle M-201 or any of the E-cigs they sell? It is the only downside to their product I have found and I hope they address it soon!

Hi, just joined this forum recently and purchased my 1st e-cig from AEC.

Received it today (ordered it 4-7-09). I live in Reno, NV. Took 9 days to receive it. Feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

I ordered two M402 starter kits, one for my wife and one for myself. Does anyone know where I can purchase a M402 passthrough?

Thanks for everyones help, especially you Fedor. This forum is the GREATEST!!! It's done nothing but save me time and money.

Thanks again to all,
Donster

I am a huger M401 fan , it's the only style I smoke now. I have 3 Pilots, 4 Evo's, and 22 extra batteries, 17 atomizers, I stocked up.

I just found this supplier esmokeshop that has the DSE401, I thought it was a labeling mistake, so I emailed him about it. This is what he said

It is in fact a DSE401. It's made by the same manufacturer as the
> DSE901 that everyone has come to know and love.

I asked if I could get the specs on it to see if the battery size was bigger than the Smoore M401, and he said he will get the specs later on tonight from his supplier. I wanted to know if they have a better cart design than the newer version M401, I prefer the older ones with the stick. He sent me a picture, and they look like the EVO carts

I ended up just buying one, so I will let you guys know the compatability with the Smoore M401/Evo once I get it.

Ok, so I ordered an atomizer and 5 blank carts from here to see if they are compatible with my M402. The atomizer is 2 hole and fits my M402 battery and works like it should. The cartridges are about 1-2mm shorter than my standard M cartridge. They do however fit my standard M atty. I still have to load them with liquid and see how they work. I will post a report once I get home from work and have a chance to do that.

Ok, I have just starting vaping my new M402 from absolutely ecigs. I used to have a KR208. My thoughts so far (after about 1 hour of use):

- The construction *seems* a bit cheap, but that is only because the unit is very light compared to the KR208. This is a good thing because it feels more like a cigarette.
- The unit is also slimmer than the KR208, making it feel even more like a cigarette.
- The shorter M402 battery is, IMO, exactly the right size.
- Vapor is OK, but I have yet to drip (still on the cartridge). Also, it's likely the atty takes a day or two to break in, as others have pointed out. It's definitely already getting better.
- Battery life (the short 402 one): still evaluating.
- Not crazy about the cartridge flavors, but obviously not an issue.

So far, I'm liking this unit enough to place an order of extra attys and batteries (from ruyandirect.com since that is pretty darn cheap).
