M201 & 402: My dream e-cigs!

Hi Fedor and Guys,

I wanted to let you know that I got my order M201, M401, M402, and M403 and my 300 carts from Smoore. It took just 8 days to have it here in Colombia, even with the holly week in the middle. It took 3 days in the custom office here in Colombia due to the holly days, so I think on normal days it will be faster.

Now, I have been using my 201 and the 403. And I think something is wrong with my 201 because I get better results with the 403.

I am not having really good smoke from my 201. I did try changing the atomizer with the same result.

The 403 is a nice little one. It works really well but the battery live is too short for me so I gave it to my wife and she is really happy with it.

I would test the 401 and 402 in the next following days and let you know.

Guys, If you can give me some tips about my 201 I would appreciate it.

Please remember that I am not able to get e-liquid here. I can get PG or VG easily. Flavors I have not been able to find some without sugar (I have not done a lot of effort on that).

I think I will be on business before fathers day. I will be doing my first last order before the end of this month. I will let you know.

Since I was not getting too much smoke from my M201 with the original carts I did a little experiment and now I am getting a lot of it!

I took 2 original carts and I took out the fabric of them. Then I filled 1 cart with the fabric of both of them. Since I do not have e-liquid, I filled them with a VG/Distilled watter (90/10), with about 1/3 of ml. And I got what I was looking for with the smoke! It is a shame that I do not have e-liquid! I think I will look for some flavors here harder so At least I will have a 0 nic e-liquid with taste. I love vaping so if I need a fix of nic, I will use a original cart, and then I will switch to the "home mod" cart and keep vaping.

Dragging is a little harder but also the hzzz sound is less.

I will talk with the factory also, because I thing all this "improvements" have to be done by them. I do not know if they have a reason to fill the fabric that loose into the cart (with a lot less liquid) other than make them at lower costs. I would prefer, as a costumer, to pay a little more and not to have to "improve" a product by my self.

Now, maybe some one can tell me what kind of fabric use the carts? I will have 50% of empty carts if I can not buy the fabric here!

I use super thin polyester batting to refill my carts. It says it is made for quilted clothing.

I dont know if i got two dud atomizers but my 401/402 is not nearly as good as my npro from njoy. Even after using it for a month now, hoping to break in the atomizer and after learning how to properly pull from it, it still doesnt perform like i expected it too.

Ill pick up another atomizer some time but im thinking the npro or peewee is underrated.

Well, their "vacation" always sucks. Even after their vacation, they're always hit with loads of backlog and it'll usually take a week to normalise.

They got mine shipped off the day they got back. Then I remember seeing something about a delay in shipping for those that hadn't been shipped yet. I got lucky! I do love how they sell their fluid by the 100ml.

I can understand if you want to try and conserve as many of the carts as you can, however, you can "extract" the e-liquid from the carts using a syringe (needle). This will give you better flavor, and then you can proceed to mix this (up to 50/50) with VG/PG to further conserve. In order to get the highest mg finished product, you may want to use 'High' carts for this.

Kiviuq-try sticking with the 401/2 for at least a week or two...I believe that there is a bad 'batch' out there, but for the most part it takes about 1 week (depending on use) to break in the atomizer.

The atomizer that came in my starter kit was the small one, and I was pretty happy with it, but then I just put on the extra one I oredered, an BAM !!! Holy crap, much better. Its the wider one and it is much much better.

Side note. The atomizer came in a pouch and it was 'wet'. Maybe the prob with atomizers is that they dry, and the crud forms .... and the solution is to always keep them moist. I guess then we smoke the crud, but oh well.

Whats the verdict on the Marbro e liq from A-Cig ? I use Johnson's Original and I guess its pretty good, I'm pretty new at this, so I have no real comparison to make.

Thank you for your advice. I was just thinking on it. But I am doing a lot of research here as well and I had a meeting today with a lab. Also, I have located a organic tobacco farm, so it is possible that I will come out with something from here. I will let you know.

hi, I bought the m402 and afetr playing with it a bit today I love it. I did not buy a case...I'm sad about that. I was wondering about the cartridges... can I buy cartridges from anyone? or only absolutely ecig. I have a sampler of liquids coming from johnson ---do i have to buy a bunch of "blank" cartrges from abso.ecigs or do i just drip in my empty cartridge? thanks

Pippin- when you have the time read through the tread, it contains the answer you are looking for, plus much more information that you never knew you needed to know (if that makes any sense). Short answer: any Intellicig EVO/Puresmoker Pilot carts will fit. If you see any websites that advertise an M401 cart, it will fit. You can also reuse the carts that came with your M402. Search the forum for Terraphon's cart packing/refilling vid. A $3.00 bag of polyfill will last you months. I would still order extra cartridges from Absolutely, but do this with a big order to fully capitalize on the shipping. 15.00 isn't a huge price to pay but its not exactly cheap either.

Ccure-good to see that you have a solution for not being able to import e-liquid. I probably don't have to tell you but, PLEASE be careful with any nicotine. Remember that it is a poison in its raw form, and can be absorbed through skin contact. With the way things are going in the US, we may be asking for your advice soon ...

Anyway, Ccure when looking for polyfill/polyester batting material make sure that you get "untreated". Anything "treated" will have chemicals added into it to make it flame ......ant/resistant. Vaping those chemicals CANNOT be good for you. For flavorings I'm not too sure of the avaliability outside the US, but the stuff most US (and some UK) vapers are using is LorAnns Candy "Oils" They are not "oil" which can be bad for the atomizer, but concentrated flavorings with a PG base. Try searching for "candy flavorings" in your local craft/hobby store/online. If you aren't sure its safe to use, try and post a pic/link on this forum under here:

Ok, regarding the Nicotine, I am not going to handle it myself. That is why I got that meeting with a chemical lab here. We (the lab and I) will be starting to do some test in the production of e-liquid with lab securities and standards. We are going to get the Tobacco leaves from this Organic farm, so no chemical pesticides or oder chemicals have been used in their production. With that leaves the Lab will extract the Nic and will start testing some e-liquid flavors, also with concentrated flavors that are produced in the same Lab.

I have been reading almos all the concerns that we, as vapers, have regarding the e-liquid and have transmited those to the Lab.

So, it is possible that in some time I would ask to the members of this forum to help us testing the flavors, packing, laveling, etc.

I didn't wanted to let all know these yet, because we are just starting the process and I do not know who long it will take. I do know that if we can make a good e-liquid, we are willing to send free 100ml samples to anyone that is willing to taste them and let us know what they think and what we have to change/improve. And maybe those that help us will have a very very special discount for ever!

Lets see what we can do and we let you know in time.

OK, In a past post I was saying that I have some issues with my brand new M201, so to be fair I have to post this also:

Now it is working really really well! I think I had to break down the atomizer for a longer period of time.

I am sorry with all the M201 fans to have said that it didn't work.

Now I can say that I am also a M201 fan!!

Just received my order from Absolutely... Not entirely all that happy right now. The package was soaked with e-liquid and I lost almost half the fluid. Also the bottles dont have screw lids for the dropper part (not sure if they were supposed to, but each lid was also really loose...). I have emailed them and will be receiving a response soon I'm sure. So far their customer service has been awesome so I have faith in them.

Thankfully my M-401 looks to be just fine

EDIT:: Just got a reply from Absolutely, they offered to give me 2 free bottles with my next order. Very happy with that.

I would be jumping too if i were you but i'm sure they will make it right. They are new at selling retail liquid so this might be a good lesson that they should learn. I got my liquid without losing a drop so packages to the US must be pretty roughed up along the way. Anyway, its their responsibility to forsee this.

I posted in my edit what they said, they'll send me 2 free bottles with my next shipment. Unfortunately none of them have lids for the droppers so going to have to find a way to do that on my own. I'm happy because they were very responsive.

I'm experienced with pen style, two and four hole, and just ordered two sets of m401 kits, how is the m401 regarding vapor production and battery life to a classic pen style?

Deacon: Wow, that is a huge disappointment, but considering that the E-Liquid is a new product, and Absolutely is only used to doing "hardware" (Kits, batts, atomizers, carts) its unfortunate, but not surprising. Knowing Absolutelys' great customer service record, I agree with Fedor, and am sure that they can and will correct this for both you and future orders. If you're looking for bottles, try Wallgreens they have "Fresh Breath Drops" in a 3.7 ml bottle for $.50 Walmart also sells Sweetbreath i believe its the same size/price but I could not find any locally.

Ccure-When I'm out of the house the 401/2 is always with me, but at home, and during long periods of time, I'll have the 201... The only thing that I want from the 201 is different body color options and led colors. It's not a huge deal but having the option of something that doesn't look like a huge cigarette would be ideal.

I don't have any experience with the 801, but I've noticed better amount of vapor and slightly heaver throat hit with the M201 vs. the M401. I leave my 201 at home, and carry around the 401. Its easier to "blend in" without a pen sticking out of your mouth. Battery life is pretty much the same, but i haven't done any testing to prove it, just daily use.
