I "panic" ordered from puresmoker before my Absolutely E-Cig order came in, and one of my atomizers has the same problem... minimal vapor, no throat hit. Unfortunately for me I did not even have the first few "good" days of vaping before the atomizer quit... it was pretty much DOA. If you look a few pages back you'll see Chevrons post about the updated wicks. My puresmoker wick is the old style, and my Absolutely is the new style... I have two working atomizers from PS, but one nearly "dead" atomizer, and one finicky battery that i will be sending back.

Gendolookin- try contact PS... on their website there should be a support page. Fill that out and wait for a reply. It will take a few days but they'll get back to you. You'll have to ship the atomizer back, but they should give you a replacement.

I know for a fact that the M401 is a great unit, and hope this experience will not dissuade you from the model. I have the EVO, the Pilot and Absolutely M401 and have completely given up analogs for about a week... I still miss analogs but quitting would have been impossible without vaping. Before I bought the M401s i was using a eHealth model, this helped me cut down, but after the 401 it was goodbye analogs.

Fedor: thanks for the update on the liquids... i'm still a little sketchy about buying liquid outside the US though. I wouldn't want my order confiscated by customs... especially with all my precious atomizers in each shipment. ;)

Thanks ruuku, I have the old atomiser design too. Also, does anyone know the best place for juice. To get that throat hit, and a good vape? I have surfed these forums, but can't find anyone that named anything :) (might be due to consideration for the manufacturers that are in this forum) But if anyone is willing to give me a name and website that would be great. If not, perhaps a good hint ;)

Thanks again, if it weren't for this forum, i would be TRULY LOST!

Np! Glad to help.
For juice reviews/advice look in the reviews section: E-Liquid Reviews - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat
There's TONS of liquid reviews. I especially like Terraphons vids...informative and entertaining! As far as juices go I like E-Smokey Treats watermelon and coffee, (I'm placing an order as I reply) and Puresmokers Menthol (huge kick in the throat). I've heard really good things about Totally Wicked E-Liquid, but would really like quantities in smaller mls. If your looking for a strong throat hit look at TWs marlboro: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tally-wicked-24mg-marlboro-nsfw-language.html.

BUT, like i said, flavors/likes/dislike are VERY subjective. The only way to find out if you like a flavor is to really vape it yourself.

I agree with Ruuku. I don't rely on e-liquid reviews at all as they are too subjective. Its like asking someone their favorite food or drink.

But i don't agree that buying liquid outside the US is sketchier. I personally feel that all liquids are pretty much the same. They are pretty much from the same manufacturer most of the time. Some suppliers may order flavorless and add in their own flavorings but thats pretty much it.

I would prefer to buy from a manufacturer in China that produces liquid by the tonnes and has the proper factory/ facility than from someone in the US that has a website and claims that they produce their own liquid. This is only my opinion and i don't mean to offend anyone that buys from the US.

As for customs, i don't foresee any problems as long as it is sent via EMS and as long as you are not ordering by the gallons. Personal packages will always be fine with EMS.

I am a huger M401 fan , it's the only style I smoke now. I have 3 Pilots, 4 Evo's, and 22 extra batteries, 17 atomizers, I stocked up.

I just found this supplier esmokeshop that has the DSE401, I thought it was a labeling mistake, so I emailed him about it. This is what he said

It is in fact a DSE401. It's made by the same manufacturer as the
> DSE901 that everyone has come to know and love.

I asked if I could get the specs on it to see if the battery size was bigger than the Smoore M401, and he said he will get the specs later on tonight from his supplier. I wanted to know if they have a better cart design than the newer version M401, I prefer the older ones with the stick. He sent me a picture, and they look like the EVO carts

I ended up just buying one, so I will let you guys know the compatability with the Smoore M401/Evo once I get it.

Whats the best place to get those new atomizers for the 401. I need something locally in the US. But not puresmoker, they have the older atomizers. I really want this 401 to work, I LOVED it when i first got it!!!

I just got mine from Midwest Vapor. Link on distributor page. Great prices and super fast shipping. I've got the 4 hole M401 atty and it's been working like a champ.

Thanks Kaeo, more parts and compatibility is always a good thing. As for the inner cart though, i like the redesign. Compared with the Evo (stick) the Smoore leaks only when i over fill, the Evo will leak when i over fill, and randomly into vaping the cart (liquid between the cart and the mouthpiece?).

Gendolookin: Don't get me wrong, as I'm pretty sure that PS's distributor is Smoore, its just that they might have gotten a bad batch. 3/4 of my PS sourced atomizers are working fine, but this isn't as reassuring as the 5/5 working atomizers from absolutley.

Fedor: you misread me my friend, I don't use any of the US made Juice (JC), rather I'm pretty sure that all of the Juice that i have so far purchased (EST, PS) are all produced in China, it just the fact that the more inconspicuous i can keep my orders from absolutely the better. I may order liquid on its own from them at a later date, however right now I'll hold off. Or, it could just be me being paranoid :)

Retina: It's not 2 vs 4 hole atomizers that were discussing, rather the "new" atomizers have a wider wick arch vs the "old". Look at Chevrons post a couple of pages back in this thread, he has pictures up.

I was merely giving my opinions, ruuku. Wasn't targeting particularly what you said at all. No worries.

I am just curious. Why do you need to keep your orders from absolutely ecigs inconspicuous?

I want to buy 401. Where to buy?
Perhaps the link has not been posted in several pages now. Anyway, if you're not in too much of a hurry to receive your goods and can wait a few days extra to save $$$, check out www.absolutelyecigs.com

Just paranoid about customs seizures.
Awhile ago i used to play airsoft, and most of my stuff came from HK. Had a couple of orders seized, wasn't fun.
I don't want to sound like too much of a fanboy but i remembered asking absolutelyecigs about their shipment and the issue of seizures when i made my last order. As expected, retail orders via EMS are not affected.

The interesting part is that their wholesale orders are not affected as well. The thing with China is, all other shipping companies such as Fedex, DHL, UPS are not allowed to ship certain items such as powder, liquid and possibly even batteries. Only EMS is allowed to do that (perhaps to safeguard business?) but EMS charges are much much higher. Thats why everyone was shipping through HK. It seems that absolutelyecigs are able to ship wholesale orders directly from Shenzhen now, while others still cannot. As to why and how, i really have no clue. This should be good news for aspiring suppliers though.

It appears to be the wide wick, looks like his pic. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow.

This is pretty good news... after my initial order a couple of weeks ago, i have spread vaping to so many people. So much so that I find myself selling orders intended for my personal use. I really want to start selling units (then i can actually "keep" my own order), but the initial wholesale quantity is a speedbump. Also I was worried about hiring a customs agent to help with any problems that i might encounter.

The liquid from absolutelyecigs is growing on me. I wanted to finish my old supply first (well, at least the remainder liquid left on my syringe), but i am finding myself going for the new liquid constantly.

It has a "fresher" taste and gives a better throat hit. Quite enjoyable, really. I am only talking about the Marlboro as i did not order any other flavors.

who actually manufacters their liquid?...when i asked them they wont tell me...how can this be legal (refusing to divulge the manufacturer of a drug)?...I understand its not the U.S. but even so...seems almost criminal to me (and certainly negligent) that everyone is hiding this VERY important information. What if someone gets sick, does this mean that theres noone on the face of the earth responsible for helping?...to my way of thinking it should be required to have ALL manufacturers names and contact info included in the packaging of at least the liquids (due to the fact that its a drug)...i mean heck, we even get that with analogs...its no secret.

Im really disturbed by all of this cowboy and indian type marketing being used by 99% of resellers right now...so much so in fact that im thinking about quiting vaping until all this gets sorted out by the FDA and people start selling responsibly so i dont have to fret about everything...seems to me you cant trust anyone in this e-cig industry...im starting to feel like a real FOOL for buying into it.

The cart looks a lot like the cart that came with my Health brand e-cig. If you look at the descriptions of his items, they say M401 despite the title saying DSE401. Keep us updated because he does have stock...and good prices paired with his cheap shipping make him an appealing supplier.

I've still yet to receive mine. Though I ordered during their little vacation. It was handed over to customs and looks like it's back out into shipping. I expect to have it tomorrow or wednesday. I got the trial pack of liquids (crossing fingers that they dont taste like cat piss)

Well, their "vacation" always sucks. Even after their vacation, they're always hit with loads of backlog and it'll usually take a week to normalise.

I've had friends from 5 countries buying from them and all swear by their prices and service. The only problem is the occasional backlog that happens.

I'm sure there will be at least 1 flavor that you like from the sample pack. Even if others tastes like "cat piss", its not too much to lose for $48 = 100ml. You can always sell or trade it at the classifieds section with other members.

I'm still enjoying my Marlboro very much.
