although I don't "know" as much about the science of performance part (technology), i have tried both Nem and Lux...my two faves right now... for switch/button and pos pin contact functions (nice adjustability), as well as conductivity, but i'm not sure which i like more.
Leaning towards the Nem myself right now.

Agreed, the Mac looks at least in the same ballpark if not superior to these 2.

When you look at the state of things today there's so much happening with designers taking a step all the time in the right direction.

I've just about given up the pipe dream of " i'll just get this mod and then i'l be set for good ".... lol.

agreed. although if a classic appears, it'll earn a permanent home in my collection.

No lock. Not needed in my opinion. Minimally recessed button works flawlessly. I wouldn't put this thing in my pocket along with anything, so there wouldn't be anything in there to accidentally activate the switch.

awesome - thanks. i love this particular design with the delrin/plastic ring holding the battery. i presume it's similar to the nemesis battery cap and is height adjustable by turning the neg contact?

Actually it's the pos pin that is telescopic similar to the chi. I've used this in person and it is definitely a quality device.

hmmm that's how i feel about my Nem vs Lux... to me, the Lux is more elegant, refined, and hits great...but the Nem feels like more of a workhorse... with silver contacts, although it may take more work than the gold to maintain, it really packs a wallop too.
I'm seeing Nem in this Mac... but Mac could be worlds apart... in a good way.
But I have a hunch its a winner.
Just an update after 24 hours. I love this mod. I cant put it down. I actually feel like i am cheating on my Paps LUX. lol. Lets keep this thread at the top of the list. Maybe we can get Mac to become a modder who make flashlights on the side vs. a flashlight maker who makes mods on the side.

This thing is great. I have had the nemesis and thought it was nice, but too many breaks in the finish and at least with mine, the switch was a little crunchy. It didn't matter what I did to try and rectify it either. The Paps Lux is awesome and works fantastically. But this thing is just a pleasure to use and it's light weight is very nice.

just wondering, what is the outer diameter of this mod, in the pic with the kayfun it seems theres a slight ledge so maybe 21.8mm? I would love to see this mod reduced to 21mm, been looking for a good 21mm mod for a while now for the steam turbine/bliss and the only nice one right now is the origin. imo there are more than enough 22mm mods, but thats just me.

anyways, subscribed...

I think it is the light playing tricks on your eyes. sorry not a great photographer here. lol. But the mod is actually just a tad larger than the 22mm. maybe 22.1 or 22.2. I don't really notice unless trying to feel it. I am not sure because I dont have a caliper. But it really is just a tiny little difference.
