Over this past week my chest has been sore and lungs a little sore. It has been driving me crazy! Lol Everytime I vaped my chest and lungs would bother me..... I figured out what it was Now it was a combination of things:
1. Running with my puppy in this cold air (I stopped...haha)
2. My puppy has been climbing on my chest and laying on it when I am asleep...lil sh** (I actually woke up around 3AM to him chewing on my collar bone this morning! Lol)
3. When mixing my eliquid I have always used 24mg to 36mg nicotine solution (I have been making it at 8mg nicotine 60/40), but a couple weeks ago I got some 48mg nicotine solution figuring it would take less amd last a little longer. I have been vaping it since the end of last week.

Today I mixed up some eliquid using the 48mg nicotine solution at 5mg nicotine instead of 8mg. I can actually inhale now! At 8mg it was burning my nose when I would exhale out my nose...haha I just did not think there would be a difference, but there was! Lol
I am so happy I got it figured out!
I could not believe I caught my puppy chewing on my collar bone this morning! Lol Who does that?!?

Glad you figured out the breathing pain. As smokers we've had enough of that ....e! I find if I vape too much PG I not only get super dry (nasal passages, mouth, sinus) but it seems to kind of hurt my lungs, so I've switch to really high VG--at least 80% If there's a wicking problem i dilute it with 5-10% water for my protanks.

Puppy hanging out on your chest and gnawing on your collarbone--LOL! Sounds like kitty behavior... is your puppy getting his social education from cats? oooh, I just remembered something:

When I was 19, one of my apartment roommates was this guy, Jeff, who was studying reptiles. He had a giant toad from Africa (I mean giant--it was the size of a dessert plate, and weighed about 4 lbs), a 6 foot yellow snake, various lizards and an 18" long tortoise named "Tortellini". Some of these creatures had the run of the apartment. That toad, for instance, loved to sit behind the baseboard heater. Well, for some reason I ended up sleeping on the living-room floor one night (I can't remember why, but it may have had something to do with excessive consumption) and I was wakened by these distinct little chomping noises and tickles in my toes--"Tortellini" was giving me a trim! He was definitely NOT trying to eat my toes or anything--just nibbling gently at my toenails with his ginormous BEAK! It was sooo freaky, but kind of cool how he was so careful not to hurt me.

I would SO be there if I could! last night I promised myself I was gonna try again to build a coil because I had --unbeLIEVEably--a night completely alone, with no distractions, company, nothing needed doing-- and I didn't do it. I really wish I had someone to hold my hand through the process. I don't know why, but I'm just intimidated by the process, and each time I try, I screw it up. I did read this tutorial again, though, for confidence building. Talk about baby steps. I'm gonna have been vaping a year in late May!

I am a nervous person...and then I start rambling... I know! I know! Why would I be nervous? I even get worked up when I have to call and order food sometimes or call utility companies.... Yea, I am so happy I figured it out! I was wigging out, because I have not had any chest or lung stuff since I quit smoking over a year ago. I thought I would post it here just in case some where in the world someone else may have a similar or the same issue and it could help them!

Yea, it was the funniest thing waking up to him chewing on my collar bone! I was dreaming before I woke up, and in my dream someone was telling me "This does not belong here, it has to go!" It was crazy, because I hear that and wake up to my puppy dang near trying to remove my collar bone! Haha

Wow! That would be crazy waking up to a turtle biting your toe nails! How cute he was trying not to hurt you I just want to squeeze the big guy! If you could have taught him to trim your nails he would have been so helpful! Lol

Out of 4 INTENSE cleanings I finally have the machine oil out of my marquis enough to vape it and holy vapes it is awesome. The addition of goo gone to the cleaning process helped...I could see the oil sitting on the bottom of the cup seperated out from the goo gone. Then i spilled the whole mess on my self and can't take my shirt off because the tee underneath is completely see through. I dont wear bras because I'm not very well built...Ehem....so you can imagine with piercings and all, I would be uncomfortable and so would anyone else lol.

I must say, however, there's a tiny new vape shop nearby where the guys will ultrasonic clean your gear for free if you're a customer, even if you didn't buy the particular piece there. For free. So I'm gonna try that out the next time I get a super dirty rig.

I get like this about phone calls too! I call it phone-phobia and everybody I know pretty much knows about it (and is annoyed by it...) It's hard to understand for people who don't feel that way, I guess.

I mean, I think the idea is that they want to do everything they can to give the vaping community a nice, shiny, upright online presence. There's something to that, IMO--but then there's taking it too far. In fact, from what I understand/have seen, if we keep chatting about it like this, someone's gonna take notice and tell us to simmer down. (SIMMA DOWN! ) I'm pretty sure that "grousing" is against the rules. No joke.

So...this won't seem like it's MadTown related at first, but bear with me.....

I got ahold of a bottle of Five Pawns' Black Flag Fallen, their newest "exclusive" flavor. They've been teasing it for months, and then set a limited retail release, and finally offered it on their website. I like most of their line, and the flavor profile - espresso infused with black truffle cream - was intriguing as h-e-double-hockey-sticks [edited], so I jumped. I gave it a try, and here are my thoughts:

Is it good? Yes, it's VERY good. The espresso is...."delicate"...if you can ever say that about espresso, the truffle is there but not "oily" like some truffle flavors can be, and the cream proportion is spot-on. They've definitely spent some time and effort on this flavor, and it shows. Is it $1per mL good? Maybe. When I was working and had disposable income, the "maybe" could shift toward "yes," but being broke I have to say "no," and here's why:

Why would I spend boutique prices when there are places like MadTown? At this point in my vaping journey, 99.8% of liquids are like steak; you can get an excellent cut of steak, cooked perfectly, for around $30 anywhere in the world. If you go to a steakhouse that charges $50 or more for the same steak, you're not getting any higher quality, nor are you getting a better cook - medium rare is medium rare. You're paying to sit in that building. If, however, you want molecular gastronomy on your plate, you're gonna pay more, and rightly so. Molecular gastronomy every night, though, would get exhausting. I like my steak, and Dino is by-God a world-class grillmaster in this metaphor.

Every once in a great while, I do like some molecular gastronomy on my plate (and in my atty), and on those times I'll load up some Five Pawns. However, when I want a prime cut of beef cooked perfectly, I'll be looking Dino's way. Five Pawns' Black Flag Fallen is an excellent coffee-based vape, but it's not SO excellent it has any hope of replacing Dino's Cup of Joe as my morning go-to. It will, instead, be my dessert vape for the times my wife and I indulge our foodie sides and skip the steakhouse.
