i've been using the same normal, run of the mill, low resistance atty on my ego every day, all day for 3 and a half months. has anyone else lucked out and had one that just worked for ages? the thing only cost me 8 bucks and it still works like new! even fresh out of the pack it gave tons more vapor and flavor that anything else ive tried. is this some sort of sorcery? what could be going on here?

It's_worth_it...All_I_use(along_with_an_AVA).

+1 - hh.357 is worth every penny. The one that is now on my VVPV has been in use daily since 1/24 of this year and I have consumed well over 400 ml with it. It still performs just like new. Follow the maintenance instructions and they last a long time.

I have had a couple of regular old attys that were unkillable. It's rare, but once and a while you'll get one that just keeps on going no matter how you treat it.

I have had a few coils pop over the years, but if you keep them wet most will last awhile. I changed over to 2 ohm Boge cartos on my eGo a long time ago. Those tend to change in taste after a few days, so you always toss them and start a new one then and never lose a coil.

My main vape is a 3 ohm Boge on a Provari, but I still use my eGo from time to time. I ordered a DCT 1.5 ohm tank the other day. It's a single coil 1.5 and it produces great flavor and vapor. It's just about the best I've experienced from an eGo battery ... right up ther with a LR dripper atty. I was slow in getting on the carto tank bandwagon, but I'm glad I did. These things are around $12 and worth it. 3.5ml of juice lasts a while and refilling was very easy. Now, to see how long the carto lasts on the DCT tank. ;)

My experience has been that cartos in tanks do tend to last longer w. O. Funky old carto taste. So long as u dont change the juice of course. Cartos drive me crazy like that. Just ordered the vivi nova. Hopefully that lasts even longer than this unkillable atty! Rebuildability is definitely a nice feature. Plus price i think it outweighs the lack of flavor. For meow at least.

Good to know others have experienced the joy of an unkillable atty too!

Has anybody noticed if bottom feeders keep an atty alive any longer? I have no experience with them but if the atty is always wet it should last longer, right? Only had three dry hits on this magic atty. Maybe thats why lasting so long?

Generally speaking, yes. The wetter you keep it, the longer it will probably last. It isn't *always* true, but I think it is the majority of the time.

I have 2 standard 2.0 atty's that I paid $8 each for. I am sort of a chain vapor and have been using these 2 atty's for 7 weeks with no problems. I keep them very clean about every 2 days or so I clean them, soak in boiling hot water for about 20 minutes and rinse with warm water. Dry over night and great vape in the morning. What drives me nuts is I have a couple of different ones I want to try but I am waiting for one of these to die first.

I'm sure many will not believe this, but a few years ago when I purchased a starter kit with a standard, automatic cig style bttery, the included atomizer lasted for over a year. This was about 3 months of *regular* daily use, then I put it down (did not start smoking again, though) and rediscovered it months later. It worked for almost another 6-8 months of minimal usage. However, I can't really say if the performance dropped because I began to smoke analogs again and the ude of the ecig was sparse (basically when I remembered it or ran out of smokes.) These days, my "magic" atomizer is a LR 306. My current one is about 45 days old, still working well (but not nearly as well as a new Cisco).

Yes! I switch off from one to another pretty often, but I've been sucking on the same few at least four months! I never expected to have to learn to put new wicks in them, but the wicks are burning out before the atomizer dies. Don't know if it makes a difference, but these are from Health Cabin, about $8.

Thanks, I was about to post a new thread to find a good atty that I can test juices with (I'm a clearomizer user, always on the move and don't have time to drip). I've heard a lot about the hh357 I'll give it a shot.

Not to hijack the thread, but what ohm would you recommend for eGo batts? I have a Twist and 2 regular eGos.

So WHAT is this "magic atty" no ones ever mentioned who makes it and where to get it, Ive recently ordered some atties. I got a hh 357, some Ikenvapes and a couple others. Ive only recently gotten into things other than cartos in a tank. I want an alternative, and after buying a VIVi Nova and seeing how it performs and taste and EASE of it, I keep wondering what is is out there. Thank you
