Thanks for the advice. I was trying with 26g. Wasn't overly happy with the coils however. Tonight I might try dual 28g and shoot for 0.7 ohms or there about.

This is what I do, I have a set of tweezers (hemostats) that I lock the coil in to torch it if needed. The tips are square and flat enough to hold the whole coil. It allows me to make some bends in the coil legs without ruining the coil. They slide right in and line up perfectly. It took me 3 builds to figure out the bends just right.

I have found that builds right under 1 ohm are the best for me on this atty. Because of the deep wells and the way it wicks it is hard for the cotton to keep up on long draws under .8 ohms. I am using 29 gauge on this. It heats up just a bit faster than 28 as well as cools down a bit faster. It is still chunky enough not to be a pain to manipulate.
Anyone up to trade off there magma??! Lol Everywhere I look this is out of stock, I think I may need to unload or sell a couple of the rda's im not using before I get this. That never happens though.

^hmmm.. since it was really quick on when it was cloned, I'm thinking a svoemesto/kebo situation.. might be worth the $60 it's been at on eBay. You have anymore information on that?

Okay so I finally got a build that works fairly well. I don't know what my problem is but this dripper has been one of my more difficult RDAs to build. I got dual 26g 5/64 10 wrap coils in there now wicked with cotton. They burn "mostly" evenly together. The other builds I tried I just couldn't get them to light up anywhere close to even and resistance seemed to jump around. I took the positive post apart to make sure it wasn't an insulator issue and it wasn't. I still can't figure out why the don't light up exactly evenly but that problem is for my next build.
Gotta learn how to fill this without getting juice in the airhole. This may be the first dripper I drip through the drip tip.
Got some cyclops colossus juice in it now at about 0.8 and it tastes awesome. Great flavor and really really good vapor production. Once I get building this thing nailed down it may be my go to dripper.

I pull the cap off to drip and try to make sure the drops hit one of the posts one by one. Liquid runs down the post and into the well instead of down the wick and onto the deck/out the airhole. You can also do it just pulling the drip tip off. I hate juice in my mouth so I never drip through the driptip.
i got this rda last week. it really is fantastic, personally i think its the best flavor ive had. i have a dual coil setup sittin at 1.0 ohm with cotton wick set on the smallest air hole, perfect draw. has some resistance but it isnt tight at all. im using it on my hana v3 mini. right at 20w its really great but 22w to 30w seems to be where it shines, flavo is very dense and warm.... it is so enjoyable honestly the only thing i hate about the magma is that crappy 510 connection.... its long and there are very few threads. it doesnt sit flush on many mods and it doesnt go on some mods. if the 510 was a little shorter and had 2 or 3 more threads on it that would make it perfect. personally i dont get 40 drops in the thing! but i think that has something to do with using cotton as the wick, takes up more space in the wells. it holds a lot of juice though for sure, i measured a syringe out to 1mil and got just about all of it in there. all in all, i think the thing performs like a beast. flavor is sooo intense that warm dense vape, you definitely notice what ejuice you are using. haha
I believe Local Vape has some instock now. might wanna check that out.
I actually found them instock at Purevapeindy for 90$, thats pretty cheap it kinda makes me wonder whether its the first or second run of these. And your correct about local vape, I dont know what to do, 90$ versus 115$. What would you think? Sorry but sometimes I find it hard to believe that I happened to stumble on a good vape deal lol never happens to me.

well i havent heard of purevapeindy but i know local vape is a legit place. 115 is what i got mine for i believe, mine came from the vape theory. i must say i was hesitant on purchasing it from vape theory since i hadnt heard of them either but they were professional when i called them and talked with them about ordering and questioning about the rda. nice name by the way

Mine as well, love that show! Ive purchased from vape theory before myself, I got my limited biomech from them. Paid ten dollars shipping and it came in a crappy padded envelope. Was pretty ...... about that, almost 200$ mod and paid that much in shipping you would think it would of been a box and more protected. Not bashing them or anything, that was just my experience and my first time with them.

i was a bit worried about it but they did a good job with my order, it was shipped fast and arrived no problems. it was pretty dirty like machining bits and polish residue but i always clean the piss outta my rbas before i use em so ah well. i was really inspecting it a lot to make sure it was legit and not a clone or something. but i havent found a clone anywhere yet, i heard they have already cloned it but i cant find it (thats good!
) but yeah its all good, it seems to be the revised edition, i believe the newer ones have a white spacer/insulator inside the well in between the posts. not sure if i got the new 510, seems long still so prob not.... either that or they didnt revise it very much- Status
