Hello Majors.

Saw this and was inspired this morning. Look at the kids beautiful smile.

We're all just souls trapped in our bodies and this kid connected with his before the world got to him and convinced him he was only mortal. He's five years old and he's playing Bach for his second piece. In my opinion, this is proof that God exists and therefore, we can rise above anything.

Good Day, Major and the ever beautiful Mrs. Major!

Oh my goodness! You gave me quite a start when I read of your post. I have had those injections so I know just what you are talking about. I cannot even imagine having them without anesthesia. You must be made of pure metal, Major sir. I am just so happy and relieved that you came through such a harrowing experience with such good spirits and attitude. This, if nothing else should prove to you that you are not nearly done yet and there is still important things for you to do with your beautiful life.

May you and your lovely continue to be blessed and covered at all times by the loving wings of angels.

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

I must say, Major, that I respond, this morning, with a mixture of concern, admiration, appreciation, and relief.

You share with us such an at once terrifying, threatening, and yet somehow uplifting thing.

You show such sharing candor when you say, "That little episode scared the crap out of me to be honest...".
I'm sure Mrs. Major was equally mortified.

Your level headed examination of the negative to find a positive is there when you say, "It was such a small thing yet had such a profound impact on my appreciation of being alive and moving my limbs on my own."

Yet you gain our admiration by thinking of others while dealing with a threat when you said, " I do apologize for not being around a computer or what not this week without sending word..." I don't think there is one poster to this thread who doesn't realize that higher priorities, duty, and circumstance could call you away from posting....as far as I'm concerned you don't owe an apology to anyone. You continued and gained my admiration, ".... but I was as stated, just being appreciative of the things in life we all take for granted until we get a scare." It seems to me you will never take these things for granted again!

I really appreciate your post and am most relieved to see how strongly you handled this trial. You, and Mrs. Major deserve high praise for your even keeled and right up in the face of adversity way in which you have performed.

You always make me feel privileged, wanted, and honored to be lucky enough to post in this thread.

Well done Major!:toast: Well done Mrs. Major!:toast: God bless you Major! :nun: God bless you Mrs. Major! :nun:

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

I hope this Sunday morning finds you both are well and still on that path to recovery and healing. I go back to work, later today, for another 4 day stint. But when I get off work on Thursday morning I'll be on vacation. :) I hope to go visit my Mom. She will turn 95 next month and still lives on her own but right next door to my sister. She can't reach or stoop as well as she would like so can't clean house but she still does her own laundry and cooking; an absolute blessing to herself and others as she has always been. She is still sharp as a tack and has a wonderful sense of humor despite hip replacement, macular degeneration, and arthritis.

Know that you both, and many others who are fighting infirmity, remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning Mr and Mrs Major!

What a scare for you both and I'm glad that you are both feeling better now. :)

I've had a father-in-law in hospital, a deranged sleep clock and a bird preparing to lay her first ever egg this week. Scouring the few pet shops here for cuttlefish bone, vitamin powder and nesting material has not been the fun you might imagine. The poor girl looks utterly miserable. I am not looking forward to the labour when it comes- the first egg has so many risks of complications and the nearest avian vet is three hours drive away. Far away enough to be of little of no use.

Here's how the experts deal with Kiwi eggs- luckily Chai hasn't got a mate and her eggs will be smaller. This is worth watching just for the New Zealand accent!

Just stopped in to say hi Mr and Mrs Major. Your last post spoke well to how receptive your are to life Major. Only by living in the moment can you achieve the attitude you have. It seems you are in touch with who you really are which is not your body. You are oh so much more and I think you know it. I have to say you have Major Mojo.

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

May you both be happy and healthy today. I'm still pulling for those healing forces to come to rest on you both!:) It's amazing how many ungrateful people there are in this world. They never stop to "smell the roses", as you posted, once, Major. Poor souls!:( they never will know, understand, or appreciate what they have missed!
