I am back from holidays and I will leave again in 5 days. I want to know that you are ok and that you will do me a favor. You will give up when I say so. We will make this agreement and you have to keep your word. I am not joking at all. If sending me a pm every day makes you feel better, then do it.

You are a man of his word so I expect that you will keep your word to me.

Have a good evening buddy.

Yes I will my friend. I am sorry I could not contact anyone but no electronics allowed where they were keeping me. I think if I get a phone or text number from one of the guys I can at least get my wife to do that even though she isn't very good with a smartphone. She is naturally blonde! - And before you lovely ladies get on me for that remark, I am soon to have 40 years in marriage to her so it is said with the deepest love one person can have for another. :)

Hi Major it's great to see you here again pal and you surely don't need to apologize for anything. We just missed you and were worried about you. Thank you for the cell number at least I can check up on you now and let everyone know how you are.

You know that you can beat that score board buddy. The home team will win.

PS As I told you a brass 4 in 1 is yours even if I have to bring it personally to Panama City

Major, so good to hear from you!

Good Morning!

Hospitals are horrible places and that's just visiting! I disliked the wall of sound even at night. After an asthma attack, I was shoved in a room with about eight other beds and the noises were reminiscent of those scenes you read of from the Crimea.

My best friend has nursed in Cardiac Monitoring, Emergency, Nuclear Medicine and ICU and she tells me that even working there, the noise, the frenzy (and most telling), the boredom in between these is very tough. One minute on nights you are eating pizza and joking with the doctors, next you are trying to calm a mangled car accident victim to put in a line while the doctors are on the phone trying to find a specialist willing to get out of bed to save a life because the on-call specialist is in a toe-to-toe screaming match with the Director of Nursing over bed availability. TV does not make it up sadly.

It must be wonderful to be home and away from all that.

Every day, the sun ripens the fruit to sweetness,
Every night, the stars extend their shining threads.
All, is done in silence.

:)

Good Morning, Major!

I am so relieved as all your other friends, that you are safe. Each day brings something new to us...sometimes good, sometimes not so good... but it is for us to learn the lesson of the day so that tomorrow, we again may have something new, instead of repeating today's lesson over and over again.

Good Morning Major!

Autumn is lightly in the air here and watching the slow transformation, in its infancy, starting to grow to fruition is indeed wonderful.

"Just keep believing. This is an opportunity where great things can happen and lets be great right now. Everybody believed and we went out there and achieved it because our faith and our relentlessness to keep fighting. "
