Good Morning Major!

Ahhh....poor Major!:( Up early and the drive to the hospital. Waiting, waiting; waiting.
We will be waiting too.

Pre-op surgery prep. You figit and try to stay calm
We figit and try to stay calm too.

Into surgery.....
The toughest wait now begins.
We wait the toughest wait with you.

We all are with you both in spirit; you try to relax...
We try to relax.

You wait and wait and wait some more to get the news.
We wait and wait and wait with you to get the news.

You project the positive healing energies and pray.....
We project the positive healing energies and pray.

It will be a wonderful thing when we receive your next post.....you will then know that we all were with you.

Good Morning Major! Good Morning to the Mrs. too!

I wonder how you both are faring this morning but believe you are both well.

The warrior -in us all- could use a little boost. I hope this quotation will do that. Even though the text refers to "him" I believe it applies to all warriors regardless of sex. Remember, one of the greatest, true life warriors that ever lived was Joan of Arc!

"And all who heard would see them there,
And all who should cry, Beware! Beware!
His flashing eyes, his floating hair!
Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread,
For he on honey-dew hath fed,
And drunk the milk of Paradise."

Khubla Khan -S.T. Coleridge

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Major and Mrs Major!

This morning I woke up to a pile of custard pies on my doorstep.

My sweet little Moki, Gizmo's cage-mate has had a very tough life and only since we acquired him from an abusive home seven years ago has he had reasons to be happy. But lately he has been sickly and thin. The vet says it is cancer. We don't know how long he has. So it's medicine for the pain in his eye and a lot of love.

Sharing the heavy heart of you and yours.

Hi all! :) First chance at a quickie message to say the surgery went better than even the surgeon expected (his words!). He said the next 3 or 4 days will be the most critical but the actual defect has been corrected.

Thank you friends and thank you God! :) They are letting me stay in her room now so I will be with her but I will be back on in a couple of days. The worst seems to be behind on this thing!

Have a super weekend all! :w00t:

Steve
