I've been using my aspire nautilus for a few months now and my protank II before that for almost a year. I want to make the next leap and go for a tugboat or something like that , what is the best model to get for a beginner? i've rebuilt some of my protank coils but the results haven't been amazing so it's gonna be tough to get this right. Also what VV mod should i get ? been using an mvp since i started vaping but i want one of the bigger mods so my tanks look nice on it. I chose the silver MVP because it was the only one in stock at the place i bought it... would have preferred the black one but i needed it immediately

Recommendation?

Hopefully someone more experienced with RDAs will come along shortly. I JUST started with RDAs and got myself a Zenith clone. You can build a single or dual coil and the air flow control ring is nice and locks in place when you screw on the top cap. 101 Vapes has them for $14.99.

Oops...just saw you're in Ireland. Probably 101 Vapes is not your best choice. ;-)

If you want a dripper, keep in mind throat hit is different. Maybe try the magma RDA first, it is a flavor chaser, it's a 22mm device. If you want something smaller, consider the kayfun mini and you can run it in drip mode (it will come with 2 tank sections as well, but just dont use those) which works great. If you want a tank, consider a kayfun as most will tell you it is easy to build and performs great.

Skip VV and start looking for VW. Controlling the watts makes more sense if you have multiple devices and run them at different resistances. I'm a fan of anything with the elvov DNA boards in them, so look at something like that. They perform great, but since it's up to custom builders to make the tube/box make sure its a good quality one that will not have any issues and be worth the money.

Grab an IGO F or IGO W to start out with. The F is single coil while the W is dual coil. They work well and are around 10 bucks each. Think 101 had a steal going for a W earlier this week. You can grab a clone of them as well but the authentic is 10 bucks or so.

I use them on my MVP2 at times.. heck I use them on my spinners as well.

Test at first.. You may have to drill out the holes some once you get experienced with them. Pretty easy to do. Nothing like putting a drill to my svd or kayfun.

what do you guys mean the throat hit is different? in what way?, i'm mainly a flavour chaser but i like a moderate throat hit and a decent cloud.
Drippers generally hit harder than a tank etc. And some drippers hit harder than others. Example I can use my mama all day long and it's good because it's super flavor full and decent throat hit but my tobh is just too much for me in throat hit to go all day with it.
It all varies based on the design on the inside of the atomizer.
