Making the switch from eGo to .... I don't know :-(

Hi All,

I have been vaping for over 3 years now. I don't visit the forum very often though so shame on me. My setup is very simple - Drip tip, 510 atomizer, eGo cone and eGo 1100mah battery. My normal 510 atomizer supplier no longer carries them but I do see pages and pages of all these "new" giantomizers, clearomizers, glassomizers, catomizers, idontknowomizers, etc.

I played with mods years ago (had a Wetbox for awhile until is caught fire) so I don't want to mess with batteries (14500, 16340, 17650, 18350, etc.)

Honestly I just want something I can stick on my eGo batteries and have it work (and not look too ridiculous) although I am not opposed to a new rig / setup. I don't mind dripping at all but the thought of not having to put juice in every 20 minutes is nice too.

What innovations have I missed that I should look at? Inexpensive and simple is the way I want to go. I only smoke cinnamon juice so I assume most plastic tanks are out.

As your favorite is a tank cracker, you may want to look at something like a Protank. Doesn't look that bad on an eGo battery, either. Here's what it looked like when I was using the Twists.

It will be very top heavy with that, though.

If you're still happy with the 510 atomizers, have you tried to source them through another Canadian vendor?

I love them. It does have a plastic window though, so I dunno. Pro Tank is glass and uses the same coils as the EVOD BCC so it should be great. Looks a little funky on an Ego tho.

I also like the Smoktech Mega Cartos.

I second the protank or the protank mini for egos. I don't vape anything plastic-eating, so I mostly use the evod, but they all use the same heads so you're good to go.

The Protank and EVOD are the current hot items in this class.
I carry 3 or 4 eGos with mini Protanks on each when I leave the house. They are dependable, not unattractive and easy to use. Replaceable heads make it pretty economical as well.

Protanks and T3's are the way to go. We have been nothing but happy with their performance. We're using protected Efest and AW batteries but they sure didn't come from fasttech. I ordered a couple of trust fires to try them out and they already turned to crap and they are barely a couple months old. My best vapers are coming out of a KTS+ with a kick. It does help loads to build your own heads cause the stock protank heads suck bad IMO. Got a few protank2's and mini's in the mail and looking forward to giving those a shot. I stay away from anything out of fasttech that is electronics cause I see them either being 2nds or cheap remakes and clones. Buy your gear from coops, you'll be much happier knowing your not going to receive crap for top dollar spent with vendors.

Just finished ordering another protank Mini. Got 5 iClear 16's with my iTaste but prefer the BCC. Easy maintenance. Easy to switch juices. I like the feel of the glass protank(feels more solid), and no worries about hat juice you put in.

I definately need to get more of them. But due to wife acceptance factor I'll pick up one every few weeks. Would be nice to have 4 or so loaded with my ADV's and one for testing juices.

As an aside a protank mini on a black ego or ego twist doesn't look bad at all.

I cannot stress the "Artemas" Carto tank enough! Every single person I've reco'd them to has absolutely been blown away. You can get them on madvapes.com for a decent price, go with the boge carto's - stay away from smoktech. They're relatively cheap and work flawlessly. I've had mine for a year now and its still going strong, got a few extras along the way too so I could swap juice when I need.
